R.I.P. Robert Mott
Today we say goodbye to a truly remarkable man, a loyal friend, a patriot, and a beloved part of the Southside Patty’s family. At 89 years old, he lived a life filled with courage, honor, laughter, and stories that will stay with us forever.
He was a war hero — part of a generation that sacrificed so much so the rest of us could live freely. The strength, bravery, and humility he carried were qualities you don’t see every day. Yet despite all he accomplished, he never asked for recognition. He simply showed up for the people he cared about, and that’s what made him special.
At Southside Patty’s, he wasn’t just a customer or a familiar face — he was family. His seat, his smile, his stories, and his presence made the room warmer. Whether sharing a laugh, telling tales from years gone by, or simply enjoying the company around him, he reminded all of us what friendship and loyalty truly mean.
To our dear friend and yours — thank you for your service, your friendship, and your heart. You served your country with honor and lived your life with dignity. You will always have a place in our hearts and at Southside Patty’s. And we will always be waiting to warm a Guiness for you.
Rest easy, hero.
You’ll be deeply missed, but never forgotten.
