Dear Community,
It is with an enormous amount of sadness to have to break this news. However, the landlords at 46 Valley River Ave (Dave & Amy Johnson, and Mary Moore) have decided to terminate my lease. There has not been any prior notice, and they have not answered any of my phone calls in my attempt to understand what is wrong and allow me to rectify whatever issue has come up. Dave and Amy built this business from its infancy, and they have decided to shut it down without even answering a phone call. As of close of business this evening (10.13.21), The Daily Grind as you know and love it, will be no more. We have been given until Oct 31st to remove all of our belongings. We will spend the remainder of this week evaluating our inventory, and then we will open the following week to sell off ALL INVENTORY & EQUIPMENT. Please send us a message if you’re interested in coming to take a look – but please be patient, as it will take some time to get back to you if you have questions.

Thank you for your years of support. We love you and we will miss you.

The Daily Grind and Wine has become the downtown "Cheers" for locals and visitors alike. Located in a historic building in quaint Downtown Murphy, NC, it is a great place to meet old friends and make new ones!

We are a full service coffee shop serving espresso, cappuccinos, lattes, etc. Our delicious lunch and breakfast menu is available all day. Fresh baked goods, wraps, salads and grilled Panini sandwiches are served daily. Our retail wine shop features over 250 different varieties of wine and you can enjoy specialty wines and craft beers by the glass at our beautiful handcrafted Celtic bar. Come by for breakfast, lunch, after work food and drink, or take your favorite bottle home from our large selection of wine and beer.

Don't see your favorite wine by the glass? Feel free to browse our retail wine section and pick out any bottle to enjoy on premise for an additional $5.00 corkage fee.
