After retreating into the abyss of a deep dark hole for nearly the better part of a year now, we've decided to peek out of it briefly and make a reappearance. We've been contacted by the great staff at Oaklands Mansion, whom invited us back yet again to pour some of Tennessee's favorite meads at their 2024 Oktoberfest. Oaklands has always held a special place in our heart and so it is very satisfying for us to contribute to the event that goes towards the continued preservation of the mansion and to keeping its rich history alive. Therefore, we're honored and happy to announce that we've gladly accepted that invite. That being said, this is the 10th anniversary of Oktoberfest and so should be better than ever. Come out and show your love and support.

As usual, some of the best local home and pro breweries will be on-site to provide a huge assorted variety of craft beverages to choose from to satisfy every palate, as well as some of the local favorite foods. This event sells out each year so get your tickets before you can't! Tickets will NOT be sold at the door.

We would like to thank everyone who came out to support us at Oaklands Mansion's Oktoberfest yesterday. It was such a fantastic turnout. Our fan base and followers are hands-down the best! For a second year in a row you've depleted our entire stock before the event was even halfway over. We are very grateful for this, and for each and every one of you, but we do wish we could've been able to pour til the end of the night. We also want to thank Oaklands Mansion, their hard working staff, and the sponsors that present this great event. We are honored to have been welcomed back once again and to be pouring alongside some of the best brewers and breweries around. Thank you.

To all of our devoted and supporting fans,

As much as this stings like a bitch to say, we have made the very difficult decision to end the pursuit of following our dream to opening our meadery. 😥 Despite the great progress we've made over the years to allow us to pave the way for us to open, some local municipality restrictions still remain to be impassable for us or too restrictive to realistically allow us to operate as we should. This would be unfair to us and unfair to our customers. That, combined with some newly added personal concerns, left us with this difficult decision. We can't thank everyone enough for the loyalty and support you've all given us over the years and we are extremely grateful. ❤️

That being said, we will continue our home meadmaking with the same quality level you've all come to enjoy and expect. We do plan on continuing to participate in the local charity events so you will still have the opportunities to enjoy our meads. Again, we thank all of you for the endless support, and we look forward to seeing you all at the events.

'Taste of Rutherford', 2023. That's a wrap!

What a blast this was! It once again gave us the honor to join a 'Class A' line-up in the local craft beverage community and also provided us yet another opportunity to familiarize the locals with our meads. The community's positive response to our products never ceases to amaze me. Not only were we able to cater to our fans and introduce many more to what mead is but we also converted several "committed" non-mead drinkers back to enjoying this tasty beverage. We'll continue this mission one person at a time if need be.

Thank you Taste of Rutherford, Main Street Murfreesboro, and Oakland's Mansion for hosting this event. I especially want to give a huge Kudos to my wife Mary-Kaye , who is always busting her t**h. Not just at these events but every single day behind the scenes as well. Without her we wouldn't exist.

If you missed out on this event you'll have another chance to trying our meads this year at the upcoming ''Oktoberfest', September 30th at Oaklands Mansion. Be there!

Summertime in Tennessee is the perfect time for a session mead, which is a lower ABV mead, light and very refreshing. We did so well with introducing our sessions to the community last year at Oaklands Oktoberfest that we're bringing them back for you once again. Some of you may remember, it was such a hit that we ran out of all of 4 of our product in less than an hour and a half! With that, we are thrilled to announce that we'll be pouring yet another round of flavors on July 22nd at 'Taste of Rutherford', brought to you by Main Street Murfreesboro. We at Iluzion are entering 2023 extremely optimistic that this will finally be our year. We've all waited way too long for us to get our meads into your hands and like you, we're "chompin @ the bit" to do so. We assure you though there's a lot of behind the scenes still actively in place and still some paths to plow but, come hell or high water we're going to find a way! We appreciate all of you sticking with us along this journey.

Oktoberfest 2022, that's a wrap!

A very successful event for us at the Oaklands Mansion Oktoberfest. It was a total sell-out of all 4 of our meads that we brought and we're very privileged to have poured yet again amongst some of the best brewers in Tennessee. Most importantly, it was a huge relief to being able to once again have the opportunity to getting a few samples of our meads into the hands (and mouths) of the area locals. Thank you Oaklands Mansion for having us again. Thank you to our fan base and, thank you to all the great people of Tennessee.
