Dear Friends and Family,
In 1962, a simple dream took root when Orlando Noviello opened the doors of a small hoagie shop and invited the community inside.
What grew from that dream became something far greater than any of us could have imagined. Orlando’s became more than a restaurant — it became a tradition, a gathering place, a constant in a changing world.
Our father, Orlando, believed that what truly mattered in life could be summed up in three words: Bread, Grapes, and Philosophy.
To him, bread meant nourishment and comfort — food made with care and shared with love.
Grapes meant celebration — the joy of raising a glass together in both good times and bad.
Philosophy meant conversation — stories told across tables, ideas exchanged, friendships formed, and hearts opened.
That belief shaped everything Orlando’s has become.
For generations, these tables have held birthday cakes and anniversary toasts, baptisms and funerals, first dates and weddings, quiet dinners and loud celebrations. Life happened here — one meal, one memory at a time.
This building carries the echoes of laughter, the comfort of familiar faces, and so much love poured into every plate.
What began as our family’s dream became home for an entire community. We will be forever grateful for the trust and loyalty you have given us through the decades.
With full hearts and deep emotion, we now share that we have decided to sell. This was not an easy decision. It comes from love — love for our family, for our health, and for the years ahead.
While our chapter is ending, we hope that the story of Orlando’s will continue. You were never just customers — you were part of our family. Though our hands will no longer serve the meals, our hearts will always live within these walls.
Thank you for more than six decades of support. Thank you for letting Orlando’s be a part of your lives.
We will be posting the hours that we will remain open and will let the community know our closing date.
With endless gratitude and love,
The Orlando’s Family
