We had an abundance of secondhand clothes for the Spring Sashay and other spring dances. By the time the Memorial Plus dance arrived, pickings were more limited. I went into the clothing room earlier this week, however, and saw five bags full of new (to us) clothing! It was like Christmas as I opened up the first bag and found a skirt I couldn't resist. Today, Kay and I went through the rest of the bags and found some treasures waiting for you! Pictures are attached of some. A few solid colored mens shirts came in that were around 17-1/2 / 35 or so. Also, a number of extra large womens solid colored blouses.

We've added two extra dances to our season. They will be on Saturday, June 13th and Saturday, June 27th. Starting time is 7:00. There will not be any pre-plus or pre-rounds, but we will start with mainstream square dancing. Paul Gonseth will be calling and Georgia Ruebsamen will be cueing. Let's get a bit more dancing in before we break for the summer. Don't worry about square dance attire if it's warm. Hope to see you!

It's time to get out your red, white, and blue attire for our upcoming Memorial Plus Weekend, from May 22nd through May 25th. It's always a treat to have Brent here with his calling, and this year we have added Randy and Marie Preskitt. They travel all around the country doing special events. This time, however, we get to have them from right here in our own state. Between Brent, Randy, and Marie, you are in for a treat!

Our painting team continues pressing on in finishing our building. Other club members have joined our troupe. Some parts of the building are a bit trickier to reach than other parts. We keep plugging away now that the Spring Sashay is over. It was a wonderful event, and we are grateful for all our guests, as well as the calling of Mike Seastrom, Craig Abercrombie, and Adam Christman. Susan Healea once again did a wonderful job of cueing for all. Hmm...I wonder how much we'll have done by the Memorial Plus Weekend.
