This video is fun in that it features square dancing, round dancing, line dancing, and clogging all being done simultaneously. Lessons start this fall for all of those, except clogging, this fall.

Here's something fun on Saturday

We were so delighted with the turnout at our summer bonus dance last night. This sweet group of Prairie Shufflers showed up and we had a delightful time with them. They show up often enough that they feel like members. :) Apparently, the vintage activity of taking the host club's banner if you bring a square of people, has returned. I didn't even know we had a banner for anyone to take, but someone here dug it up. Well, looks like we'll need to put together a square to get it back. :)

Our two summer bonus dances were dedicated to our newest graduates. In our club, it's almost like you graduate and then summer comes. We wanted to give them extra dances before we shut down for the hot summer months. It was great to see some of our students show up, as well as some of our dancers who hadn't been on the dance floor a lot in the past year.

Paul Gonseth did a number of patriotic songs that many of us just had to sing along with. It was a delightful evening.
