My office for the day! I'm fortunate enough to be helping out a local farmer replace a badly beaten water line. I got the opportunity to set up shop in Boise today and help out a Mission 43 colleague. Vicki is converting a camp trailer into a concessions trailer, to sell her Whoopie Pies. They're DELICIOUS!!!! Do yourself a favor and go get one when she's up and running! I enjoy using my "mobile" set up, but I made lots of packing errors today. Forgot my spare batteries for my drill and impact, forgot to buy D-rings and nuts for the hardware. Oh well, hopefully I've learned and won't make that mistake again.

I got the opportunity to go help a friend who runs a farm near me repair, or at least start to repair, one of their irrigation distribution lines. They had attempted to repair it with a patch, but the material was HEAVILY corroded. The only option was to cut the diseased section out and weld in material that is sound. I'll finish it up tomorrow and post up pictures.

I knocked out some weld-on shock mounts for a customer's Nissan 350Z today. It was the first time I've even seen this modification, but I'm not saturated in the motorsports industry. They welded up nice, but one edge of the casting sure was sparkly! A few too many impurities in the steel for the torches liking. It wasn't anything a Dremel burr and some patience couldn't resolve though.

I knocked out a couple of sofa side tables for to go with her new sofas. They aren't 100% complete yet; they are getting Quartz tops and faux mitered brushed texture. Then I'll cap it all off with some temperature and bee's wax. It was going well until I dropped my torch and sent a to the grave.... 😥 God's speed my friend.

I got asked to make a Christmas gift by a cute little girl that I know, and couldn't pass up the opportunity. I guess it's something called a Triforce? And there was something about Zelda. 🤷‍♀️ No clue..... 16 gauge cold rolled that I hit with 80 grit on a DA. I put a 3/8" "lip" around the back that is supposed to get some LED lights, and then get hung on the wall. Fun time in the garage and an opportunity to make smile!
