Hey fam, Spreading the word for anyone who knew and loved Dave. ❤️
This Saturday, our community gathers to celebrate the life of David Raven at The Church of The Little Green Man.
Dave was one of those rare people who I believe was inter-dimensionally traveling… come on, how else?
An artist himself, he spent so much of his life encouraging the artists around him. He loved music. He loved dreamers. He loved people with big ideas.
He was a big brother to me, family to The Dale from the very beginning, a neighbor, a supporter, and someone who believed deeply in the magic of this community.
He was a huge believer in me, in The Dale, and in just about every wild dream I ever brought to him. Truthfully, he was like that with everyone.
That’s who he was.
A pioneer of weird. A manifester.
He could make magic materialize simply by believing in it. And somehow, he got the rest of us to believe in it too.
He made people feel comfortable being exactly who they were. He celebrated the dreamers, the artists, the oddballs, the seekers. He reminded us that the weird stuff wasn’t something to hide. It was the good stuff.
There was something magical about him. Like he knew there was more going on than the rest of us could see. And he carried that knowing with a smile.
To me, he was a crazy lighthouse.
A steady light in our community. A champion of musicians, artists, seekers, and anyone trying to find their way.
Saturday we’ll honor him at The Church of The Little Green Man at 2:30pm. One of Dave’s favorite places.
Then stick around. The Little Green Man gathering is something special, and I can’t think of a more fitting place to celebrate someone who spent his life believing in magic.

The Dale will be open with music by Johnny Jules and food until 11pm.
Come celebrate an artist who spent his life lifting up other artists. Come celebrate a guy who never stopped believing in people.
We’ll miss you, but this is just the beginning and we’ll hang soon.
