Walking into The Chophouse in Mount Vernon is a whole experience 🤎🔥 Think dark, rich wood tones, a grand space that feels both upscale and inviting, and a buzz that lets you know you’re in for something special ✨

Owned by Mayor Brad Hyman and his wife Stephanie Hyman—the creative force behind the menu—this spot brings serious flavor with prime steaks, fresh seafood, and a bourbon selection that deserves its own spotlight 🥃👏

We kicked things off with a mimosa flight 🥂 (the right kind of decision) and Maryland crab cakes 🦀—crispy on the outside, tender and flavorful inside. The house salad followed with that unforgettable champagne dressing 🍾🥗… truly next level.

Then came the moment… a perfectly fired bone-in prime ribeye 🥩🔥—cooked to absolute perfection—with a loaded baked potato 🥔 that held its own.

Dessert sealed the deal: a rich, creamy slice of salted caramel cheesecake 🍰🤌
