To our loyal customers, friends, and the community in whole, we thank you for your support over the past three years, and your concern over our abrupt closure in November. While we are not able to disclose certain details for our own protection, we want you to know that the current re-opening of the Empire Ale House is not under our management or control. We believe the previous owners of Empire Ale (and it’s building) unlawfully removed us from the building on November 19, 2018, and robbed us of our interest and investments in the Empire Ale House pub and restaurant.
If you are interested in the details of our claim, we have filed a lawsuit against Bruce and Nancy Springer in Skagit County Superior Court and will be posting a copy of our complaint after we receive confirmation that the Springers have been officially served with the complaint.
Above all, please know we regret that we are no longer able to serve you as the owners and operators of the Empire, and that we have been unable to provide you with any explanation until now. We will share more information as it unfolds.
