🐯 WE'VE GOT SOMEWHERE TO BE!

The Spot will be CLOSED TODAY, September 7, but not because we've forgotten what day it is. 😉

We'll be trading our usual Monday night at The Spot for an evening cheering on our Tigers at the Mount Vernon Homecoming Parade & Pep Rally!

Supporting our local schools and the kids in this community means a whole lot to us. Whether we're sponsoring some pretty incredible cheerleaders, helping bring Dandy back to the sidelines, or simply showing up to cheer them on, we're proud to support our Tigers. 💜

Closing tonight also gives our Spot family the chance to spend the evening with their own families and enjoy everything that makes a small-town Homecoming pretty special.

So if you're looking for us tonight, you won't find us at The Spot...

Next Tuesday, August 25, will be Morgan's last day at The Spot, and before she goes, we want to take a moment to recognize someone who has been such an important part of our journey.

With 10 years in the restaurant industry, Morgan brought experience, dedication, and a whole lot of heart with her. Through the transition, rebrand, and everything that came with opening The Spot, Morgan has been an incredible asset to our team. Her knowledge of the restaurant and familiarity with our customers made her invaluable during those first few months, and we're incredibly grateful for everything she's given us. ❤️

We also know we're not the only ones who will miss seeing her around here. If Morgan has served you, made you laugh, taken care of your table, or simply become a familiar face over the years, stop by before Tuesday to say goodbye and wish her well!

Morgan, thank you for being part of this chapter with us. You'll always be part of The Spot's story, and we're wishing you nothing but the absolute best in your next one. ❤️

IT'S HOT OUTSIDE...... BUT WE'RE COOL! 😎

With another scorching East Texas week ahead, we're making sure The Spot is ready for the heat! Our A/C is operating at full capacity, keeping things nice and cool inside when those Texas temperatures start climbing.

We want to give a HUGE shoutout and thank you to C & S Service Company for taking such great care of us and helping make sure we're ready for the hot days ahead. We truly appreciate you! ❤️

As for the rest of you... when it's this hot outside, the last thing you need to do is heat up the house making dinner.
