A quarter of a century later, we still remember. 🇺🇸
25 years ago today, an ordinary Tuesday morning became a day our nation would carry forever.
We remember where we were.
We remember the images.
We remember the names and faces.
We remember the first responders who answered the call without knowing if they would make it home.
But September 11th also reminds us of something else: how quickly strangers became neighbors. How people showed up for one another. How, in the face of unimaginable heartbreak, Americans chose courage, compassion, and unity.
For the generations who lived through that day, may we continue to tell its story. For those born afterward, may we teach them why we promised we would never forget.
Today, The Blue Parrot remembers every life taken too soon, every hero who answered the call, every family left with an empty seat, and everyone whose life was forever changed.
25 years later, the promise remains.
