Hello my Foodie friends,
Save the date, Saturday, June 21, 2025. I’ve run these events for the last eight years so 2025 most likely will be my last hoorah. 👨🍳
Super excited for a Summer Soire!
Many of you expressed an interest in the Tuscan Dinner next February and I hope we can make that happen (Chefs from Tuscany). In the meantime I’ve connected with a local Chef that has rave reviews and he is very active on the Cos Foodies page on Facebook and well connected in the Chef/foodie community in general. Menu below, and the “OR” categories are yet to be decided, I’ll narrow this down closer to the time but people rave about his Cheesecake and he makes them special order. Below the menu are the particulars about the dinner.
1st course:
Brie, Fig, and Prosciutto Crostini
2nd Course:
Lobster Bisque
3rd Course:
Prime Rib
Sides:
Parmesan Risotto
OR
Vanilla Bean Sweet Potato Purée (sounds unique)
4th Course:
Creme Brulé with Fresh Fruit
OR
Cheesecake with Carmel or Keylime
Available Steak Sauces:
Horseradish
Creamy peppercorn

I will be capping the guests at 16 people to include Dave and myself. This guarantees a more intimate dining experience and overall quality.
Price per person is $165 which doesn’t include wine. (you can bring your own or I am happy to pair for you for an additional $20-25pp. THIS IS NOT COUPLES ONLY, we’ve had many solo repeat guests over the years!
I’ve been successfully holding these Chef Dinners in our home for 8 years and yes price points have increased based on food, demand and Chef expertise. Chef Russ has an excellent reputation and a busy calendar.
If you haven’t attended an in-home Chef experience, please note that you shouldn’t compare it to dining out; it’s private, relaxing, meeting new people, unique tablesettings, music and custom menu, so as you might imagine there are no economies of scale with food purchase. If you’re a foodie, you get it!
I will need this paid in advance to secure your spot and to book the Chef.
I have Venmo or you can mail a check. We do not take Credit Card payments.
Refundable and non-Refundable terms: Your money is fully refundable if I have not sent Chef a deposit to secure the date or if Chef has to cancel for any reason. You may find a replacement but you must handle those arrangements and discuss the replacement guests with myself. You may also check with me if I have a wait list.
Wine pairing: You can wait and pay for wine pairing if that’s an option for you 2 weeks prior to the event.
This will be fun, please let me know as soon as you can. I have a couple weeks I can hold this date based on Chef demand and we’re not that far away….
