When we heard a spa was opening literally next store from our restaurant, we were very very excited. The Marigold on Main Spa + Shop is food for mind and body as our food is food for the soul. Bring both businesses together and we create a full bodied experience. We decided to join hands this Sunday and our project is simple: Do a session at the spa and receive 15% off and afterward walk over to our place for some brunchy lunch and get 15% off. Our gofundme campaign has been on for three days and is the best evidence that the community appreciates what we're doing and doesn't appreciate what is happening to us at our location!! Thank YOU so much. What an incredible display of compassion, hope, and perseverance. We are ONE.

We have devoted over 15 years of ourselves to the idea that we have the power to bring better food to the table and that it starts and ends in our local communities with small growers and farmers. We are not done.

Just two days and the response to our public plea has been astounding! Thank you and you and you to infinity! Please donate what you can afford. $5, $15 etc. This sends a loud message to landlords. Nothing good will ever come from conflict. Be decent as we have been from day 1. People are encouraging us to just get out of the building and leave the owner to dance in his own mess. Yes. That is on the table. We would really like to stay in town, but are weary about a rotten landlord situation so we are proceeding with caution. We have a court date at the end of the month dealing with four frivolous claims to evict us. All he has to do is honor the lease that came with the building purchase. Stay tuned. It is not over. For Justice, Love, and for small businesses in the country who are lit by the fire of creativity to take a chance by taking their dream and stepping out into the public space to share it.

We could seriously use your help to continue fighting our landlord who just wont quit. He refuses to recognize our restaurant and cafe leases, and has concocted four frivolous claims for an eviction, and attempting to make our lives miserable in the process. Help us stop this insanity.
