Mackenzie Riann Meyer as Silence Houlstone

Mackenzie has been doing theater for four years now and loves every minute of it! She previously performed at Monticello Opera House in A Christmas Carol as Hannah and Murders in the heir as Paula. Her favorite part of theater is the amazing audience and the community that comes with it. When she’s not onstage, she runs her own photography business. She’s excited to be part of ghosted! and ready to make your night full of laughter.

Ghosted! runs tonight through September 20th.

Meet the cast of Ghosted!

Chase Oester as John Houlstone

Chase Oester grew up in Monticello Florida and likes photography, spending time outdoors, playing with his cat Priscilla and spending time with his friends. He has done only a few plays in the past including, Lights for Proscenophobia, a radio announcer in Diary of Anne Frank, an ensemble role in Court Jester and The Constable in Fiddler on the Roof. He is excited to be back on the stage. He would like to give thanks to his friends, family, his parents for encouraging his creativity and finally he’d like to give thanks to God for his gifts that he uses in his performances.

This show runs September 4th-20th!

Jesse Fulford as Edward Houlstone

"Jesse is fourteen years old and currently attending Aucilla Christian Academy. He has been doing many shows since he was 11. Recently, he portrayed “Prince Eric” in MADCO’s Little Mermaid Jr., “Fyedka” in Fiddler on the Roof, and “Clive” from MADCO’s Somethings Afoot. He wants to thank all of his cast, crew, and friends for all their support."

"Petra is a fourteen year old homeschooler, she has done theater for eight years, and she is grateful for every opportunity she has had. You might have seen her in Fiddler on the Roof as Chava recently right here at the Monticello Opera House. She wants to say thank you to her whole family and the cast and production team for their support."

"Thrilled to be back on stage at MOH, some of Martha's recent performances here include Madame Selma in Jason Q. Brookins’, “A History of Public Relations Dilemmae,” Veda in “Dearly Departed,” Fiona in “Murders in the Heir,” Fiona (yes, another one) in “The Humans,” and Ethel in “On Golden Pond.” Martha has appeared in many plays at Theatre Tallahassee, Thomasville’s TOSAC and at FSU’s School of Theatre. She has acted in many FSU and independent films. Martha hopes you enjoy tonight’s dinner and a show."

Sammy Grubbs as Isaac Ghoulstone

Sammy Grubbs is a 2025 graduate out of Penn Foster Online high school. Sammy has done numerous shows at the Opera House, most recently in MADCO’s Guys and Dolls as “Benny Southstreet”, MADCO’s Something’s Afoot as “Geoffrey”, and Downtown Fool’s Christmas Carol as “Young Scrooge”. Outside of theater, Sammy enjoys martial arts, playing video games, and spending time with his amazing girlfriend and friends.

This ghostly show runs September 4th-20th and tickets are available now!

It's time to meet the cast of Ghosted!

Sara Penny Sysk as Rhiannon Houlstone

Penny is returning to the MOH stage following her stellar debut as "Fruma-Sarah" in Fiddler on the Roof earlier this spring. She has a passion for comedy and is so grateful to be part of this production with all her wonderful new friends. She would like to thank them, all the community that working with the opera house has brought her, and her mom Tracy for helping with props and make up.
