As we reach our final performance of "Fiddler on the Roof", we're introducing the last members of the cast who helped bring the world of Anatevka to life. 🎻💛

✨ Adeline Grettenberger as Ensemble
✨ Lily Peary as Ensemble
✨ Melissa Perez as Ensemble
✨ Ivy Yoder as Ensemble

Addie is no stranger to the MOH stage, having appeared both onstage and behind the scenes in productions including *Little Women the Musical* and *A Christmas Carol*. A lover of theatre, reading, writing, and travel, she was especially excited to finally check *Fiddler on the Roof* off her theatrical bucket list.

Lily has been a wonderful part of this production, helping fill Anatevka with the energy, spirit, and sense of community that make *Fiddler on the Roof* so special. We are grateful for all of her hard work in bringing this beloved story to life.

Melissa may be one of the youngest members of the cast, but she brings plenty of enthusiasm, joy, and sparkle to every performance. She loves sharing the stage with her sisters and helping create the magic that audiences have fallen in love with throughout this run.

Making her MOH debut, Ivy has brought warmth and dedication to the ensemble while embracing her first experience on our stage. We're thrilled she chose *Fiddler on the Roof* as her introduction to the Monticello Opera House family.

Together, these performers remind us that every person on stage helps tell the story. Their talent, hard work, and heart have helped make this production truly unforgettable. ✨

🎭 And just like that, today marks our final performance of "Fiddler on the Roof". What an incredible journey it has been. Thank you to our cast, crew, volunteers, sponsors, musicians, and every audience member who joined us in Anatevka. Your support has made this one of the most exciting and memorable runs we've ever experienced.

While this concludes our Meet the Cast series and our performance run, we would be remiss if we didn't acknowledge that the performers on stage are only part of what made this production possible. From the orchestra and backstage crew to the volunteers, designers, builders, and countless helping hands behind the scenes, so many people contributed their time, talent, and heart to bring this world to life. We are deeply grateful to every one of them. 💛

Every corner of Anatevka is filled with life because of the incredible performers who help bring this story to the stage. 🎻

✨ Annalise Grettenberger as Ensemble
✨ Jake Peary as Yussel
✨ Adeline Perez as Ensemble
✨ Logan Scheppers as Ensemble

Annalise returns to the MOH stage after previously appearing as the Ghost of Christmas Past in A Christmas Carol. Her love for theatre and storytelling shines throughout Fiddler on the Roof, a production she describes as being full of tradition, humor, change, and life.

Jake brings curiosity, personality, and plenty of stage experience to the role of Yussel. Whether he’s studying ornithology, working with electronics, or performing in productions like Twelfth Night, Frozen Jr., and The Court Jester, Jake always brings energy and enthusiasm to everything he does.

Adeline is thrilled to be back onstage, bringing joy and excitement to every rehearsal and performance. Audiences may recognize her from Matilda and Frozen Jr., and she’s especially excited to share the stage with her sisters and best friend in this production.

And making his MOH debut, Logan brings excitement and heart to the ensemble as he joins his family onstage for this special production. We’re so happy to welcome him to the theatre family!

Together, these performers help make Anatevka feel vibrant, joyful, and wonderfully alive. 💛

🎟️ And just like that… our entire final weekend of performances is officially SOLD OUT! Thank you all so much for supporting this incredible run so enthusiastically. Watching our community come together, celebrate live theatre, and fall in love with Fiddler on the Roof has been truly special for everyone involved. 🥰

From ghostly voices and village wisdom to larger-than-life personalities, these three help make the world of *Fiddler on the Roof* unforgettable. 🎻

✨ Sara Penny Sysk as Fruma-Sarah (Voice) & Ensemble
✨ Matt Liebenhaut as Mordcha
✨ Hatch Liebenhaut as Avram

Making her community theatre debut, Sara brings creativity, artistry, and a love for the performing arts to the haunting and unforgettable role of Fruma-Sarah. Outside of theatre, she enjoys music, writing, painting, and a wide variety of creative pursuits. She also recently started running our TikTok account! We’re so excited audiences get to experience her talent on the MOH stage for the very first time.

Matt returns to the stage after a theatrical journey that apparently began with a “widely panned” kindergarten performance as the Big Bad Wolf. Fortunately for us, his role as Mordcha has been met with far better reviews. Bringing humor, personality, and plenty of presence to Anatevka, Matt has become a wonderful part of this production’s heart and spirit.

And as Avram, Hatch brings energy, charisma, and a love for performance that shines in every scene. Audiences may recognize him from roles like Augustus Gloop, Maui, and Jafar, but around here we also appreciate his impressive talent for impersonating cartoon mice.

Together, these three add humor, heart, and unforgettable moments to the world of *Fiddler on the Roof*. 💛

🎟️ Final weekend update: only a HANDFUL of tickets remain for Friday and Saturday — and Sunday is officially SOLD OUT! If you’ve been planning to visit Anatevka, now is the time to grab those last remaining seats before they’re gone.

Some characters guide the story. Some ground the community. And some quietly carry the soul of Fiddler on the Roof itself. 🎻

✨ Talia Grettenberger as The Fiddler
✨ Ethan Bellavigna as Nachum
✨ Cassie Scheppers as Shaindel

As the mysterious and ever-present Fiddler, Talia brings artistry, heart, and symbolism to one of the show’s most iconic roles. A familiar face both onstage and behind the scenes at MOH, her love for storytelling, music, philosophy, and creativity shines throughout every moment she appears.

Ethan makes his musical debut as Nachum, bringing sincerity and charm to the world of Anatevka. When he’s not onstage, you can usually find him woodworking, working with engines, or taking on ambitious projects — including building his own tiny home from the ground up.

And returning to the stage for the first time since high school, Cassie brings warmth and authenticity to Shaindel. Performing alongside family has made this production especially meaningful, and we are so excited audiences get to share in that joy.

Together, these three help make Anatevka feel lived in, heartfelt, and wonderfully real. 💛

🎟️ Our final weekend of performances is almost here, and tickets are going quickly! Don’t miss your chance to experience the music, laughter, and tradition of Fiddler on the Roof before the curtain falls. Tickets left for Friday and Saturday night!

Today we introduce three more men helping shape the heart, humor, and tension of life in Anatevka. 🎻

✨ Brannan Salter as the Rabbi
✨ Jace “J-Money” Campana as Mendel
✨ Chase Oester as the Constable

Brannan brings warmth, wisdom, and steady guidance to the Rabbi, a role that feels perfectly suited for someone who has spent years building community and friendships through theatre. Audiences may recognize him from productions including Guys and Dolls, Night of the Living Dead: Live, and Tuesdays with Morrie.

Jace makes his MOH debut as Mendel, bringing youthful energy, sincerity, and charm to the role. Though this is his first community theatre production, his stage experience already shines through thanks to performances with Lincoln High School and Young Actors Theatre.

After an extended break from the stage, Chase returns as the Constable, bringing a grounded and thoughtful presence to one of the show’s most complicated roles. When he’s not onstage, he enjoys photography, the outdoors, and leading weekly Dungeons & Dragons adventures for friends.

Together, these three help bring the world of "Fiddler on the Roof" to life in ways both heartfelt and unforgettable. 💛

🎟️ Our final weekend of performances is almost here, and tickets are moving quickly! Don’t miss your chance to experience the show everyone has been talking about before the curtain falls on Anatevka.

05/25/2026

Today we pause to remember and honor the brave men and women who gave their lives in service to our country. Their sacrifice is woven into the freedoms we experience every day — including the ability to gather together in spaces like the Opera House to celebrate community, creativity, and connection.

Memorial Day is also a reminder that for many veterans, the hardest battles can continue long after returning home. Awareness movements like “22 a Day” shine a light on the invisible wounds of service and the importance of compassion, connection, and support for those who may be struggling in silence.

So today, in addition to remembrance, we encourage kindness. Check on your people. Reach out. Listen. Community and human connection matter more than we sometimes realize.

As we look ahead to our July 3rd Tribute to the Troops: A Heartfelt Musical Celebration during Monticello’s Independence Day festivities, we do so with deep gratitude for those who have served and sacrificed for our country.

From all of us at the Opera House, thank you to our veterans, military families, and those we remember today. 🇺🇸❤️
