Meet the Director: Brannan Salter

Brannan Salter has been performing in theatre productions since 2009, bringing his talent and passion to countless roles along the way. Most recently, he appeared in Fiddler on the Roof as the Rabbi.

Some of Brannan’s favorite and most notable roles include Arthur Beasley and various characters in I Love You, You’re Perfect, Now Change, King Roderick in Downtown Fools’ The Court Jester, and Mitch Albom in Tuesdays with Morrie.

Now, Brannan is stepping behind the scenes for the first time as a co-director of Ghosted! We’re excited to have him bringing his years of performance experience, creativity, and love of theatre to this production!

Brannan is grateful and honored to be making his directorial debut and would like to thank the Monticello Opera House for the opportunity, his talented co-director and cast for going on this journey with him, his mother for passing on her work ethic, and his amazing partner, Jesse Bright, for always standing by him.

Come see what Brannan and the entire Ghosted! team have been working on!

Meet the Director: Desiree Young

At just 20 years old, Desiree Young is already making her mark both on and off the stage! As an entrepreneur, Desiree owns and operates two businesses, On Pointe Cleaning and Dipped by Dez, while continuing to share her talents through the performing arts.

Desiree has appeared in numerous productions throughout her life, most recently as Miss Adelaide in MADCO’s Guys & Dolls, Belle in Downtown Fool’s A Christmas Carol, and Lettie in MADCO’s Something’s Afoot. She has also brought her creativity to choreography, including Frozen Jr., A History of Public Relations Dilemma, and most recently Fiddler on the Roof.

Now, Desiree is stepping into the director’s chair for the first time as part of the directing team for Ghosted! We’re thrilled to have her creativity, energy, and experience helping bring this production to life!

Desiree would like to thank the cast and everyone who has supported her and helped make her directorial debut the best she could have imagined.

We are so proud to see how far Desiree has come with MOH. Come see what she and the entire Ghosted! team have created!
