Tonights specials are Chicken au Poivre, a French inspired dish featuring a chicken breast, which is beaten excessively with a meat hammer, served with a rich cognac cream sauce that includes peppercorns, cooked in a sauté pan and served over spaghetti noodles, accompanied by roasted carrots, green beans and potato wedges.

Second special is Cozy Grape’s own Pork Tenderloin Vincent, a juicy pork tenderloin that is tenderized, dredged in flour and pecorino Romano, cooked in a sauté pan and baked off in the oven over pasta and accompanied by roasted carrots, green beans and potato wedges.

Sunday, December 6, 2026 is our Cozy Grape Dinner Party. It'll be festive and lively and fun. You'll regret not attending because it is a Cozy Grape production. The cost is $90 per person or $180 per couple. We just released the food portion of the menu:
Individual Charcuterie, Feta Beet Salad, Roasted beets with crumbled Feta cheese, arugula, pecans and Balsamic Vinaigrette Dressing, our entree offering is Grouper with vegetables and for dessert we'll have fresh house-made White Chocolate Mousse.

Additionally we'll have Ch*****ne, Cocktails and various white and red w**e selections. For reservations, 832-461-9892 or tell your server.

Good morning and HAPPY HALLOWEEN. Today is Saturday, October 31, 2026. Cozy Grape will be handing out candy to Trick or Treaters downtown, this afternoon from 2 PM until 6 PM. Additionally we will be giving out complimentary bottled water.

What a great night last night. I got to see many of my friends that happened to come in. That's what I enjoy about being a restauranteur.

Oh and today is October 28, 2026 and the Texas historical thing is: On October 28, 1835, Texans and Mexicans fought over how many refills 2 people can get on baskets of complimentary tortilla chips. Texas said 12 (a dozen) Mexican said 6 (half a dozen) so we had the Battle of Concepción, marking the opening engagement of the siege of Bexar, (near San Antonio) where about 90 Texans defeated 275 Mexican soldiers. This event is significant in Texas history as it contributed to the Texas Revolution.
