OK. I being very careful since occassionally I get the date wrong, note the day, the month. Thanks to Lu Stew who proofs my work and let's me know when I put the incorrect month.

So, today is Saturday, of that I am sure. It is the 19th day, also sure of that. Now, according to my calendar, it is September. I got everything correct just need to split them out.

Guess what today is? Yea, I know finally. It's Friday! not August 18, 2026, September 18, and can't wait to see what the weekend brings. Sinegal Wine Dinner this Sunday evening, August 20, 2026 @ 5:30 PM. I am so excited about this one as the wines are superb as well as the various courses.

Good morning Montgomery, it’s Wednesday, September 16, 2026. Tonight's specials: Chicken au poivre a French inspired dish featuring a chicken breast, served with a rich cognac cream sauce that includes peppercorns, cooked in a saute pan with the chicken breast.

Second special is Cozy Grape’s own Pork Tenderloin Vincent, a juicy pork tenderloin that is tenderized, dredged in flour and pecorino Romano, cooked in a saute pan and baked off in the oven over pasta and accompanied by roasted carrots, green beans and potatoes wedges.

Lastly, 6 places left for our Sinegal Wine Dinner, Sunday Evening, September 20, 2026 @ 5:30 PM. Sinegal's Rep Alex Jaco will be providing commentary. Based on her presentation for our private Locker Member tasting she set the bar really high. Tuesday is here. It’s September 15, 2026 and the month of September is officially half over. Our specials tonight: (do I use a colon or semi-colon?) Pollo Romano: a Tenderized Chicken Breast, dredged in Pecorino Romano Cheese and flour, baked & served over mashed potatoes & asparagus topped with artichoke & Lemon Butter Sauce.
AND
#2 Special tonight is Spaghetti a la Carbonara: Spaghetti pasta in a classic super rich cream sauce with bacon & fresh egg yolk, topped with shredded Parmesan Cheese.

So, I used to post historical facts re: Texas History, I had several request's to do it again. So, this one is K-razy. On September 15, the Crash at Crush in 1896 near Waco: a Katy Railroad publicity stunt where two trains were deliberately crashed head-on. The explosion and flying debris killed three people and injured six.

Not sure what this stunt was supposed to prove. If it was to prove how safe railroad travel was, I would have to say it failed miserably. Kinda like autonomous driving cars, they scare me, I prefer taking my chances with a human controlled Uber or Lyft although I've been in some that seemed to be autonomously driven.

We still have spots left for the Sinegal Wine Dinner on Sunday, September 20, 2026 @ 5:30 PM. We had four people that had conflicts that day.

BIG NEWS! I was just informed, in addition to our usual specials, additionally we’ll have MEAT LOAF! For some reason a lot of people reuest our meat loaf since we no longer prepare it as a weekly special BUT, tomorrow night, that would be Wednesday Evening, we are doing a Meat Loaf special by reservation only. Call Cozy Grape and reserve a Meat Loaf Entree. We are only making it for whomever reserves the particular dish. Thanks to all, Tom out.

Thanks to all that came out and supported Cozy Grape. June 19, 2026, was 14 years that the community has supported us. We started our 15th year on June 20. That’s a long time for a restaurant and we know the reason, not us, you.

Tonights specials are Crab stuffed Mushrooms as an App, Redfish Papillote, entree numero uno and Pork Chops as our other entree with Strawberry Crepes, topped with Nutella.

Good morning, it’s Friday, September 4, 2026, first game tonight of the 2026 season for the University of Oklahoma tonight. We play UTEP @ 7 PM.

Tonight’s specials are Crab stuffed mushrooms for an appetizer, Redfish Papillote for an entree. I did not understand the second entree special so I guess everyone will literally be surprised OH WAIT, I got it, Pork Chops, and for dessert, some sort of. Crepe.

Chicken au poivre is my fave. it is a French inspired dish (like French fry’s, French Dip, French Toast) only this time featuring a chicken breast, served with a rich cognac cream sauce that includes peppercorns, cooked in a saute pan with the chicken breast. It is so, so tasty and rich and as a r3esult we have lots of new admirers..

Second special is Cozy Grape’s own Pork Tenderloin Vincent, a juicy pork tenderloin that is tenderized, dredged in flour and pecorino Romano, (a knock off of Pollo Romano, but with pork tenderloin) then cooked in a saute pan and baked off in the oven over pasta and accompanied by roasted carrots, green beans and potatoes wedges.

No, that’s mean and anyway, I get paid big bucks to handle our social media page, so here goes.

It’s the first day of September, 2026. I will not be in on Friday evening because my team is playing another team on TV and I gotta find a place to watch. it. If anyone has a recommendation where to watch UTEP @ Oklahoma, I would appreciate any suggestions.

So, our specials are the same as last night, unless we ran out. Then it would be the same as last night minus the one we ran out of. Just checked, we’re good for tonight.

I decided to go ahead and post the specials and not be lazy. It’s Saturday, August 29, 2026, two days before August is over. A reminder, Labor Day is September 7. Labor Day is a federal holiday on the first Monday of September every year. It has its roots in the American labor movement. It has nothing to do with the day that the most babies are born.

Ok, Appetizer is Jalapeno Sausage Kielbasa in sauce with La Baguette. Entree’s are New York Strip OR Mahi-Mahi Dessert: Peach Cobbler.

It’s August 28, 2026. Since you are thinking about it, Labor Day is September 7. That’s like, 10 days away. Don’t belabor the thought of Labor Day. (See how I did that?)

Some people parked in our lot and went across the street. He was told not to park here when he goes to another business. He wants to threaten us. It’s funny when people say they are never coming to our restaurant because we asked them not to park here, but they never came here anyway. Another entitled Clown. I know this will make some people mad that I posted this, but I just want to share what we put up with. I’d post the video but the language was kind of coarse.

Wow! It’s already Thursday. Today is August 20th. Summer is almost over, kids in school, Labor Day is coming up and then…College football.

I have a fantastic idea. With each special, you’ll also receive 100 wine bottle corks. Since no one took me up on the offer of free corks, I am afraid we’re going to have to use that as a bonus.

On second thought, cancel that, I can read between the lines, no one is creative enough to figure out what to do with wine bottle corks. If you notice ther walls in the private rooms upstairs we framed giant bulletine boards made of corks. There’s also tacky looking trivets you can make. Enjoy our specials tonight!
