We're very much looking forward to tomorrow night, Saturday the 17th, when we welcome The Black Heartthrobs to the tasting room for the the first time. A Culver City four-piece dealing in what it describes as "melodic garage rock" and/or "indie white-collar rock" their strong power pop sensibilities and effortlessly catchy, intelligent songwriting make them a frankly charming force to be reckoned with. Case in point, see the track "Recover" off of their latest album Back to Zero.

Locals whirlpool bath Cat kick off the evening. The relatively new pop punk project of Adam Behan and Sean Browne (both formerly of El Camino Sutra) along with drummer Luis Flores, we're very happy to have these guys back in the building.

During the show we'll also be pouring tastes and glasses as usual in our backyard garden.

We're excited to welcome self-described "old-timey punk rock revivalist band" Water Tower to the tasting room for a special Sunday afternoon show this weekend. Combining a passion for authentic traditional bluegrass with their roots in the punk and indie worlds, multi-instrumentalists Kenny Feinstein, Joe "Juice" Berglund, and Tommy Drinkard bring serious chops and tremendous vocals to their signature brand of American music. It will be a fantastic afternoon, so don't miss it.

We're excited to welcome Haunted Summer back to the tasting room this week on June 16th for a special Thursday night show (8:00 pm, $10.) An LA duo that specializes in a mix of psych-rock and extremely well crafted, airy dream-pop gems, they're kicking off their summer tour with us and releasing their new album "Whole" (LaunchLeft) on June 21st. Early glimpse of the new record are fantastic, and they seem to be on the verge of getting the attention of the wider world, so come catch them in a small venue while you still can. Tim Husk of the Awen Family Band opens the show. We'll see you there.

Live music is back!

This Saturday, March 19th, Oakland's will be re-re-inaugurating shows at the tasting room for another great evening of their signature afro dance grooves powered by an impressive array of lo-fi electronics. 8:00 pm / $10 cover

Either digital or physical vax cards will be required for all shows. Space is limited, so it's best to reserve a spot now. Presale tickets can be purchased at the tasting room or by emailing [email protected], or calling (831) 372-8900. If not sold out, tickets will also be available at the door on the day of the show. Seats are extremely limited and are on a first come, first served basis.

Live music returns on Friday, December 10th, when we welcome Tommy Jack Pieper back to the tasting room. Long one of our favorites, Tommy is likely the great undersung talent of the local scene, and we’re very happy to have them back for one last show before they relocate to greener pastures. Tommy will be splitting the bill with fellow local luminary Nelson G Nelson, so this will be a great night.
