To our Monterey Community,
After years of incredible memories and countless pints shared under the coastal sun, the time has come for Fieldwork Monterey to say goodbye. With our lease coming to an end at 560 Munras Avenue, we’re preparing for a new chapter.

While it’s bittersweet to move on, we couldn’t be more excited to announce that we are turning the beer garden over to our good friends at Out of the Barrel. We’ve long admired their dedication to the craft beer scene, and we know they will bring the same passion to this space that you’ve come to expect. We’re leaving the garden in great hands.

What happens next? We’ll remain open and pouring until the very moment Out of the Barrel’s license is activated. Because we’re at the mercy of the paperwork gods, we can’t give an exact “Last Call” date just yet, so please follow us and Out of the Barrel for the official handoff announcement.

To our regulars, our neighbors, and every traveler who stopped in for a sampler, thank you for turning a collection of steel boxes into a vibrant community hub! Before we close this chapter, come raise a glass with us one more time and grab some fresh 4-packs for the road. You can always find us at our other locations or online, but for now, let’s make these last rounds count.

To enter your dog in the costume contest and be considered for the grand prize you must:

👻 sign-in at the taproom
🐶 dog must be present & in costume
🧟 participate in the costume parade

🥇 1st place winners will receive : $50 Fieldwork gift card
🥈 2nd place winner will receive: $25 Fieldwork gift card
🥉 3rd place winner will receive: $10 Fieldwork gift card

The city is turning the street into vibrant parklets with green spaces, outdoor seating, and booths from City departments.

We’re located at the south end of the closure, making us the perfect first stop to kick off your stroll.

Grab a pint, soak in the atmosphere, and enjoy the new green vibes right outside our doors. 🍻💚
