Closing a Chapter, Opening a New One
From all of us here at Hunter’s Run Bar and Grill, we want to acknowledge what a privilege it’s been to serve Monroe County. Had it not been for the Jones family and the vision they have for this community, none of it would have been possible. Billy Jones continues to build a legacy through the revitalization of Monroe County’s historic downtown, and the best is still ahead.
Hunter’s Run Monroeville was one of those visions, and I am thankful for the opportunity created by the Jones family.
For me, it’s time to close the book on more than twenty years in the food and beverage industry. It’s been a journey of grit, grace, and growth. I’m thankful for every person who pulled up a chair, shared a meal, and believed in what we built.
At its heart, Hunter’s Run was never just about business, it was about people. About Monroe County, the community we live in, and the families we’ve watched grow stronger around our tables.
To my staff: thank you. Your dedication and heart are what made this place a name worth remembering.
God is leading me in a new direction, one that allows more time to enjoy every moment to the fullest, more time to fully trust Him and embrace His plan for my life, sit around more campfires, and enjoy more time with my family.
Thank you to everyone who supported me over the years. You’re part of this story forever.
“Trust in the Lord with all your heart,
and lean not on your own understanding;
in all your ways acknowledge Him,
and He will make your paths straight.”
— Proverbs 3:5–6
