Our facilities include a 15bbl brew house, 2000 square foot taproom & a large green space with beer garden. We choose the name Flying Tiger Brewery because of the many local connections to the original Flying Tigers AVG in Monroe, LA. Chennault who lead the Flying Tigers in WWII and graduated from Louisiana State University lived in Monroe. Additionally, the Chennault Aviation & Military Museum wh

ich serves to preserve the legacy of the Flying Tigers AVG as well as other local military history is located in Monroe and is named after Gen. The University of Louisiana Monroe choose "WARHAWK"​ as their new mascot in 2006 to pay homage to the iconic shark mouth Curtis P-40 Warhawk fighter plane the Flying Tigers flew in WWII. JAZZ NIGHT HAS ROLLED AROUND AGAIN! Join us tonight for a celebration of two of jazz’s most influential styles, “Blues & Bossas!” The guys will be featuring tunes like “Corcovado,” “Mr. P.C.,” “Ceora,” “Sandu,” “How Insensitive,” and many more favorites. The band tonight is Eric Siereveld - Trumpet, Dan Sumner - Guitar, David Oliver - Bass, and Adam Ryland - Drums. “Why don’t yall open on Mondays?”

The answer is simple. Keeping a taproom and restaurant clean is hard work that goes far beyond day to day cleaning. We need time to remove all equipment and deep, DEEP clean on a regular basis. Customer experience doesn’t stop at standards of food and service. It’s also about a truly clean and welcoming facility. We look forward to seeing everyone this week. Next time you’re in, feel free to pat the staff on the back and say thanks. They’re the ones who make this place what it is and keep it clean and consistent for all the fine folks of Monroe/West Monroe!

Trivia is back and this week the theme is Totally 80s! You’ll be tested on your knowledge of a decade that broke barriers in music, fashion, tv, and pretty much every aspect of life and culture you can think of! Earn bonus points by showing up and showing out in your best 80s outfits. We’ll be giving away prizes for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place winners. Trivia starts at 6pm every 2nd and fourth Wednesdays of every month… and don’t forget the doors open for lunch service at 11am!

Tuesday Jazz is back again at FTB! Tonight, the guys will pay tribute to the great Sonny Rollins to mark the passing of one of the all time great voices in the history of the music. So bring your favorite Sonny tune with you for the jam or simply pay tribute by making joyous music. We’ll see you all tonight for the best live jazz, pizza and drinks Monroe has to offer! We’ve got another great live show tonight from 5:30-8:30pm. The Dirty Rain Revelers are passing through again from Muscle Shoals and bringing their original blended sound of roots rock, Americana, and blues! We’re thrilled to have them back. This show is no cover. If Mother Nature plays nice, we’ll be outback on the stage and in the case of rain we’ll be moving the show inside! Doors open daily at 11am for lunch service!

Well folks, as excited as we were…as well as the band, Mother Nature has other plans. Due to the possibility of rain and extreme weather, we are rescheduling M-Merle Day. Keep your eyes on our social media as we’ll be making the announcement for the new date as soon as we land on one. Until then, I think I’ll just stay here and drink…heroic beer.
