🇺🇸 REMEMBERING SEPTEMBER 11TH 🇺🇸

Today, we pause to remember the lives lost and the families forever changed by the tragedy of September 11th.

We also remember the heroes who ran toward the danger while everyone else was running away. The firefighters, police officers, EMTs, first responders, and countless everyday heroes who searched, rescued, helped, and gave everything they could in the face of unimaginable circumstances.

From all of us at Monroe Bar & Grill, we remember, we honor, and we thank you. ❤️🤍💙

Today, any first responder—firefighter, EMT, or police officer—who comes in wearing their uniform will receive 50% off their meal.

Today we’re saying goodbye to one of our own, and honestly… we’re not ready. 🥹❤️

Tehya has been part of the Monroe Bar & Grill family for a whole lot longer than her time on the schedule. Her mom spent 9 years here, so we’ve literally had the privilege of watching Tehya grow up right in front of us.

At just 15 years old, Tehya joined us bussing tables. By 17, she had worked her way up to serving, and we watched her grow from a middle schooler into a high schooler, then proudly watched her walk across that graduation stage. 🎓❤️

And now, it’s time for her to take her next big step. Tehya is leaving us to start her career with UPS, and while we’re going to miss her like crazy, we couldn’t be more proud of the young woman she’s become.

From clearing tables to carrying trays, from homework and high school to graduation and a career… we’ve gotten to watch so many chapters of her life unfold, and we feel pretty lucky to have been a small part of her story. ❤️

Tehya, we hope you know that this place will always be home, and you’ll always have a whole bunch of Grill Girls cheering you on from the sidelines.

Go chase those big dreams, girl. We’re so damn proud of you. 🥹❤️

We’ll be OPEN for breakfast & lunch from 8AM–3PM, but we’ll be closing in the evening so our hardworking staff can head out and enjoy some Labor Day festivities with their families! ❤️
