Introducing the Catahoula’s Jell-O Shot Competition!
Leading up to the weekend hype of the I-20 Showdown Rivalry Series: the ULM Warhawks vs the La Tech Bulldogs, we thought we’d add a little bit of extra fun that would benefit all of Northeast Louisiana, specifically the Food Bank of Northeast Louisiana. We all know the needs and the importance of the Food Bank of Northeast Louisiana, especially during the upcoming holiday season, so we’re creating a competition that is fueled by school spirit, friendly rivalry, and giving back!
Over the next five days, we’re hosting the Catahoula’s Jell-O Shot Challenge! Every shot purchased will be one point toward your favored team, the Warhawks or the Bulldogs. We will keep a running tally and the winner will be declared after Saturday’s big football game. For every shot sold, $1 will be donated to the Food Bank of Northeast Louisiana on behalf of Catahoula’s.
Want to help but shots aren’t your thing? No worries! We are asking everyone to donate a dollar when dining with us this week. If you are a community champion, 501c3, or business that would like to donate to the Food Bank of Northeast Louisiana, please make your donations payable to the Food Bank of Northeast Louisiana now through Saturday with the memo Catahoula’s Jell-O Shot Challenge. We want to recognize you and your contributions!
Let’s come together as University of Louisiana Monroe Warhawks, Louisiana Tech University Bulldogs, and Northeast Louisiana to make a big impact in our community while having some fun!
