Big news to share, This is the first restaurant, so many years ago where we went to enjoy a great bottle of w**e. Tom Gordon and his wife were so welcoming. Tom and I debated for 20 minutes what bottle to have and once I selected one, was so honored to share a glass with him, while my wife and I enjoyed a great meal. Some great restaurateurs get to enjoy their retirement, and The Copper Kettle Co. wishes the best of luck to the new owners. We will come check it out and enjoy a fabulous meal.

Big news from The Blackwater Cafe!

We bought the restaurant! The Gordon Family built something special here, and they have been gracious and generous with us through the entire handoff. That means a lot to both of us.

We're Rob and Trevor, the new owners. We've both spent a long time in this business, and we bought this place because of what's already here. The food. The staff. The space. The guests. The foundation is strong.

Quick update to keep you informed with more information in time...

This week is business as usual, 5pm to 9pm through Saturday. Come see us and say hi.

Then we'll be closed Sunday, September 6 through Friday, September 11 while we do a cosmetic refresh and get our new POS system in place.

We reopen Saturday, September 12. Hours from that day on:

Tuesday through Friday, 5 to 9
Saturday, 11 to 9
Sunday, 10 to 7
Closed Monday

The longer weekends are for football. We're getting the pub side set up with all the sports packages so you won't miss a game. Saturday the 12th is our first gameday, and Sunday the 13th is our first brunch of the season.

More hours also means we need more people. If you're interested, send Trevor a little about your background and experience at [email protected]. Mostly we're looking for folks who are positive, enthusiastic, and hold themselves to a high standard.
