☀️ Happy Father’s Day & Summer Solstice from Glacia Tavern 💙

Today feels like the perfect day to celebrate fathers, family, fresh starts, and the longest day of the year.

The summer solstice is a reminder of renewal, growth, change, and all the brand-new things still ahead — and honestly, that feels very fitting for us right now.

Our new menu has been received so wonderfully, and we are incredibly grateful for everyone who has come in, tried something new, shared kind words, and supported this next chapter of Glacia Tavern.

And because I’m Sara, I’m going to be honest with you too — this has been hard. There is a whole lot of heart inside this little tavern, but heart does not mean easy.

We know some guests miss certain past favorites like pastas, steaks, and other dishes from over the years. We hear you. Those items meant something to us too, and once we get rolling into summer, you may see some of them return as specials here and there. ✨

For now, this new menu helps us do what we do best: serve creative, delicious, thoughtful food in a way that works for our kitchen, our staff, and our future.

After seven years, we never imagined this journey would still be so hard — but we also never imagined how much this place, and all of you, would mean to us.

Glacia Tavern is reopening today.
We want to thank everyone for your patience, understanding, and support while we handled an unexpected closure and worked to get things back on track.
Today, we’re happy to welcome you back with our new menu, featuring new items, familiar favorites, and a fresh start for us here at Glacia Tavern.
We’re also currently hiring for all positions and would love to add dependable, hardworking people to our team.
Thank you for continuing to support us through the ups and downs of small business ownership. We’re grateful to be reopening our doors and serving this community again.

Well, it looks like history is trying to repeat itself a little.

Years ago, Glacia used to close for a couple of weeks each year to do a deep spring cleaning, organizing, and behind-the-scenes reset. Maybe life is giving us a not-so-subtle reminder that it’s time to bring that tradition back.

Due to a building safety/repair issue, Glacia Tavern will be temporarily closed while we get everything fixed and cleared properly. Safety has to come first for our staff and customers.

While we’re closed, we’ll be using the time for some much-needed spring cleaning, organizing, and improvements so we can come back better, safer, and ready to serve you.

Thank you all for your patience, support, and understanding. We’ll keep everyone updated as we know more. ❤️
