#1054. Mgb license plate box and bolt on 24” neck. The headstock has a piece thin wood sent to me from Raymond Pool of the Netherlands! Chrome tuners, strings 36,26,17 gdg. Prewired tone volume with chrome k***s and jack plate and a 4.0 flat pup underneath. A 4 string tail turned upside down for a 3 string and a fret wire added to a wooden bridge. The 100th anniversary plate brought to me by Jimbo from a recent Route 66 trip. 1926-2026, dang, that went by faster than a Mustang!

Happy Saturday all you music folks out there. Hope you all catch some live music this holiday weekend! Speaking of, our Homegrown festival is right around the corner, September 20th at Vixen Hill, incase you somehow haven’t seen all my posts!😉. To help you plan your day, we hope you can stay all day, but just in case, here is the lineup. Of course subject to change a little.

A fantastic full day of music, and probably an all out jam towards the end!

#1053, a little porch picker. Vintage EL ROI TAN Flor Fina metal Cigarbox. A great addition to your bar or mancave. Cherry neck with beautiful wood grain, burnt frets and an old square nail. Gold mini tuners, strings 26,17,13 DAD, 24”. A volume pot with antique k**b, and a 3000 micropup underneath. Grommet sound hole and a h**p strap by Jen The Burnt Woodshack.

What a good weekend! First off I got to drive dad, 91, in the Waverly parade Saturday morning. He loved throwing out the treats the legion gave us. Then off to Missouri with Dustin, Kaley and the boys, beautiful weather for floating and fishing in the clear current river. Thanks Nana and Ed for being great hosts! And meanwhile back here at home, the Red Ride had a beautiful day for their ride and raising money to send packages to deployed troops. A guitar I donated brought $300, and another guitar had already raised $2000 for Honor Flight was redonated and brought another $250. Thanks to everyone who made all these amazing things happen this weekend. Another no news weekend enjoyed by all! 🇺🇸 the river was low, but this is just a side stream. Also the ride for Callum had a great fundraising day as well, another Homegrown was purchased by Bill Hays and helped raise money for this fine young man!
