We want to thank the very many friends and customers we have had through the years for their support, friendship and loyalty.
You are truly what makes a business work and have a beating heart, so for that we thank you. As we all know, there comes certain moments in life when you are forced to make decisions that you may or may not want to, but that are necessary.
Naude has gone home to South Africa to be with his sister who needs a kidney transplant and he is hoping and preparing to be the donor. He will be gone for an undetermined amount of time, so it is in that regard that we feel closing Taste is the best decision for us at this time.
Friday will be our last night in operation at Taste Wine Bar, so please come by and have a farewell glass of wine, specialty cocktail or a beer and send us off with a smile. Let's celebrate the many wonderful memories that we all have created together.
Of course, you can still come see us downtown at The Haberdasher and show your support by having a cocktail (or three) there.

Try a Dead Rabbit's Tipperary (no bunnies were actually harmed in the making of this cocktail, the name comes from the bar of origin) tonight for $6. Jameson, green chartreuse, sweet vermouth, and orange bitters - typing that out just made me want one!
