Veet's prides itself with the fact that it's THE PLACE in Mobile for national artists to visit and jam in. It has been a fixture in downtown Mobile, Alabama for almost two decades and is located in one of the historic building lining the west side of Royal Street (On Mobile's main Mardi Gras route). dstand is home ot one of Mobile's finest house bands. Doug Previto & the Family Jewels. not only do they perform live every Friday and Saturday at Veet's, but they've also played as an opening act for some of the best touring acts in the country. The members of the Family Jewels, Daryl Huffman, Gary Turk & Joe Anderson are all accomplished musicians who have individually performed throughout the states and produced both solo and collaborative recording with other nationally known acts. Another reason for Veet's popularity is the fact that there's always something going on whether it's a birthday party, holiday celebration, or a special event. During the week they feature special nights to get people up and out in the party spirit. Mondays: Jukebox & Happy Hour 4-10pm
