I've been a slug "working" on our website *** thelefthandedcook.com ** for what seems like forever. Thank the youtube gods for tutorials and for quitting my soul sucking job so I could marathon this site!!!!!!

On our website ** thelefthandedcook.com ** You'll find recipes, shirts, and other random things. I'm sure you'll also find miss spelled words, wacky stretched out pictures, and maybe a recipe that doesn't quite make sense:-).

This website stuff is really hard and I give it up to all those who have awesome websites and post a bunch of content and are savvy affiliated marketers and just all the stuff that drives viewers and business!!

I'll be posting new recipes to our website ** thelefthandedcook.com ** as much as possible and If you have any requests, please leave a comment on the website:-) thelefthandedcook.com.

My fingers and toes are crossed that if you actually click on the link or simply type it into your search that our site will appear!!!!

We miss you Minneapolis/St Paul Minnesota and all our friends from The Rabbit Hole. It's truly bitter sweet being gone. Now that we have had a minute to process our Rabbit Hole days, we are blown away by all the support, thank you's, shared memories, and love of food that you all expressed. The last few months of The Rabbit Hole were really CRAZZZZZYYYY, especially the last few weeks!!! We wish we would have had more time to thank each of you in person and to take the time to enjoy your thank you's as well.

Thank you to all our guests and supporters. Thank you for dining with us over the years. Thank you for your patience during our hour+ wait times at the end. Thank you for wanting to have 1 last meal at the restaurant and thank you for "getting" who we were. Thank you for all your kind words/posts. Thank you for sitting on our little chairs! Thank you for enjoying our food and drinks and most importantly thank you for your friendship.

We want to give a very special THANK YOU to our staff that was with us to the end. Eric, Claude, Paul, David, Alex, Alee, Jesse, and our nanny Kathryn. These 8 people are as crazy as we are and we really really really miss each of you. For us and our staff, the last few weeks was like being a chicken with our head cut off running through a blizzard and then being sucked up by a tornado. Eric, Claude, Paul, Thomas, myself in the kitchen, prepping, cooking, washing dishes. Paul, David, Alex, Alee, Jesse, Thomas, and myself serving, making drinks, bussing tables, washing dishes. Paul did double time:-). These young men and women made it possible for The Rabbit Hole to exist and to end on such a high note. There are no words to express how much their hard work, dedication, humor, hustle, patience, and heart means to us. We miss you all and want you all to move to L.A.!!!!

We have never been the easiest people to work for. We always had high expectations and always wanted everyone to be moving/doing/cleaning, but this group "got" us and each other. We are sad that we don't get to see you all and Theng and Andy and many other past RH peeps any more:-(.

We also want give a big Thank You to Midtown Global Market, Jeff, Becky, and Baba. They believed in us and gave us a chance when we were just 2 crazy Californians moving to Minnesota in January. We miss you guys and our MGM neighbors.

Kyu, our daughter, was just saying that she missed our old home, ice skating at Loring park, getting ice cream from Mary at MGM, dancing to Roe Family singers, walking through our bar and we miss all those things and more too. We heart you Minneapolis and thank you for being our home.

***Important Update*** Friends, it's been a hell of a week and a half since we announced our departure!! Saturday the 30th was suppose to be our last day, but unfortunately yesterday/Thursday was it. Burners are off, Dishes are done, and Lights are no more. We apologize for the sudden change and are truly touched, honored, and honestly amazed by all the kind words and thanks we have received from all of you. We have been the fortunate ones.

Goodbye Rabbit Hole, Hello Ziadi’s!

Thank you Friends,

Thank you for choosing to walk through our doors.

Thank you for allowing us to be your dinner table.

Thank you for sharing our food and drinks and for sharing your conversations, experiences, laughter, and tears at The Rabbit Hole.

We are beyond fortunate to have had the ability to share who we are with you and our lives have been enriched by all of you. These past 5 years at The Rabbit Hole and 7 years in Minneapolis have been a crazy, wild ride. There has been a lot of sweat, tears, laughter, love, and a little bit of blood;-). We moved to the Twin Cities looking for a new adventure. Adventure is definitely what we got in opening two restaurants and raising a baby. The baby is not so much a baby anymore and our restaurant baby, The Rabbit Hole, has neared the end of its lease, and we have made the very hard decision to not renew. Our last day of service will be Saturday June 30th, 2018 from 3pm-9pm.

As small business owners and simply as people, we know we have not always done everything the right way, easy way, or smart way. We understand that our food, style of service, and even our chairs may not have been for everyone but we did it our way. We are and will always be a constant work in progress but the dream and drive to create and own our own business never stopped. The Midtown Global Market and Neighborhood Development Center embraced, lifted up, and supported our crazy dreams and continues to do that for so many other people who have the dream and determination to own their own business.

SO It’s not the end, it is just a delicious new beginning!

We are extremely excited and proud to announce that Hassan Ziadi, owner of Moroccan Flavors, will be opening his new full service restaurant and bar, Ziadi’s Mediterranean in Fall 2018 in the old Rabbit Hole space. Ziadi’s Mediterranean is the vision, heart, and cumulation of Hassan’s life. Hassan marries his decades of fine dining culinary expertise with classic Moroccan dishes, Mediterranean flavors, and genuine, heart warming hospitality. Signature dishes such as Hassan’s crispy chicken breast stuffed with lobster, mushrooms and spinach then drizzled with pomegranate sauce or his Lamb Mechoui with slow roasted lamb shank, prunes, apricots, and cashews and his 7 Vegetable Couscous bring the Mediterranean to you.

We have been working closely with Hassan to ensure a seamless transition and cannot wait for him to share his world with you, just as we have had the honor of doing the past five years. Thomas is even designing a new cocktail menu to complement Hassan’s delicious cuisine! Cocktails that feature fig infused unaged brandy, a bourbon based libation that will marry the flavors of Moroccan mint tea with a Southern style sweet tea cocktail or a verbena scented gimlet and of course a signature cocktail homage to Casablanca! Ziadi’s will open the doors to a culinary world and unique dining experience that the Twin Cities has not had the opportunity to revel in yet, but it will soon. Fall 2018. Hi friends! The Rabbit Hole is adjusting for our Spring/Summer hours aka "Patio Season". We don't have a patio! So starting today, we are going to be opening at 3pm. See you for happy hour!
