I have been fortunate to find an incredible amount of information regarding the Blow Up. Here is an advertisement for their 1st year anniversary featuring the R.T.L. DJ's and the English band Beggars Opera on April 28, 1971. Note the band was actually a Scottish progressive rock band.

Research continues on the history of the Blow Up. Using AI, a lot of interesting history is being discovered and verified.

The Blow Up officially opened 30 April 1970 under André Turmes's day-to-day direction. The club was temporarily shut for 3 months in Nov 1979–Feb 1980 over drugs. The club closed for good after André's death on 20 May 1982. André's brother Robert Turmes opened a new club in 1983 called the "Starlife"

There is a lot of interesting information on the death of André but that story is for another day.

Good Morning Blow Up fans! Here is a book article from the publication De Lampertsierg Histoire D'un Quartier Florissant. The article discusses the 1973 Queen concert and features a cool picture of Tony Prince in front of the Blow Up! Those were the days!

Hey Blow Up fans! I just had a large poster version of the Queen concert made! I had a printing copy company do a digital scan from my original and the poster looks incredible! I was in Lux for the Radio Luxembourg Ghosts of Ville Louvigny exhibit and Tony Prince thought the Queen poster was very cool! If you are interested in a copy let me know. I will check on printing and shipping costs from the US.
