I have struggled for some time now with the decision of continuing Gray Dog as a full-service restaurant, for so many reasons. Because my heart belongs to this building, I would like to share this magnificent space in a new way, as event venue called 1871 Gundry Hall at Gray Dog.

Located in historic downtown Mineral Point. This versatile, charming, and unique space allows your one of a kind gathering, corporate or social meetings, artisan class, event or family celebration… you get the picture.

Multiple Indoor & outdoor space, bar with licensed bartender, State Licensed kitchen, on-site coordinator, ADA accessible, overnight lodging at 23 Steps Inn are just some of the amenities available.

Welcome! Our family-owned "Simple, Fresh & Local" Deli is open! Located right in the middle of Mineral Point's historical district, we're delighted to be "serving up" what we've heard from local residents and visitors for years: "I wish there was a place I could get consistently great essentials: coffee, gourmet sandwiches and salads and snacks...with reliably open hours!" And to boot, we have daily home-made soups, fresh breads, meats and cheeses -- to enjoy in house or take home. So far, from what we've heard -- we've hit the mark.
