The Country Drive Band has been performing in the East Texas area for the last 12 years. Comprised of area musicians with 4 of the members performing together at any one time, the band has a vast repertoire of dance music that is appealing to all ages to keep you boot scootin’ on the dance floor. Enjoying its ninth year of Thursday night dances in Mineola, the band invites you to come and enjoy their many talents. Several of the band members have a performance/stage history with headline artists such as Johnny Paycheck, George Jones, Alan Jackson, Mark Chesnutt, and Loretta Lynn. They also have been involved in studio backup, live television performance, and worked in major dance clubs in Texas, Louisiana, Colorado, New Mexico, and Oklahoma. The Country Drive Band plays contemporary and classic Country, Blues, Pop, Rock ’n Roll, etc., and is excited to bring their music, harmony, and award winning smiles to music and dance lovers. The band is entertaining to watch with a stage presence that is fun loving and lively. “We love to make music and it shows,” says John.
