It's with a broken heart that we announce the temporary closing of Davenport Press, effective March 17th. Our lives and industry are built on providing for our community and it hurts that we must halt our ability to give back to you; the true essence of what we love to do. Our number one priority, however, is keeping each other healthy and safe, and with that we must close our doors.

You can help sustain our industry by purchasing gift certificates from your favorite restaurants, bars, and cafes. All hospitality owners and workers are suffering during this crisis. A huge thank you to everyone who has offered us their support, love and encouragement during this time.

We will continue to keep you updated on when we reopen, you’ll be the first to know. In the meantime, please stay healthy, safe and well-fed.

As we monitor the COVID-19 virus, we are taking extra precautions to ensure the health and safety of our guests and staff. We are following all directives of the Nassau County Department of Health and the CDC.

Along with others in our industry, we would like to reassure our friends and customers that we are going above and beyond our routine cleaning practices. All surfaces including door handles, chairs, tables, menus, are very frequently cleaned with an approved sanitizer. We are asking anyone at risk or feeling unwell to stay safe and at home.

We are currently open and offer take out if you are not comfortable dining with us. If you’d like curbside pick-up, please let us know when you arrive and we are happy to bring your order to your car.

As a small business, we pray that this crisis is quick and painless. Our employees are depending on us 🙏🏻
