Planning your wedding bar? Here are three details couples almost always overlook:
đş 1. Beer doesnât magically get cold.
If youâre supplying your own beer, it needs to be chilled hours before guests arrive. Putting warm beer on ice right before cocktail hour wonât get it cold fast enough. Have a cooling plan in place well before your bar service begins.
đ§ 2. Donât assume water is covered.
Many couples focus on cocktails, beer, and wine but forget to ask whoâs providing water service. Is your caterer handling it? Is your venue? Is your bartender? Making sure guests have easy access to water (and often tea) is one of the simplest ways to keep everyone comfortable.
â° 3. Ceremonies are usually shorter than you think.
One of the biggest surprises on wedding day is how quickly the ceremony flies by. Couples often estimate 30 minutes, but many ceremonies are closer to 10â15 minutes. That means guests head to the bar much sooner than expected, creating an immediate rush if youâre not prepared.
A little planning goes a long way toward keeping your guests happy and your celebration running smoothly.
