At Milwaukee's Urban Harvest Brewing Company, we brew our hand-crafted ales in small batches several times a week. Our versatile line-up of beers ranges from our highly refreshing 414 Golden Ale to our deliciously full flavored Espresso Amber. In between you can find our traditional European style brews, Wheat beers, IPA's, and others to choose from. Adventurous Seasonal and Specialty brews will show up from time to time, displaying the creativity we apply to our brewing. We invite you to stop in for a pint or two or take a growler of one of our freshly brewed beers and become a member of the Urban Harvest family. Dog friendly outside - weather permitting.

Urban Harvest Brewing would like to thank all of you who turned out Saturday to OktoHarvest Blocktoberfest '26. Please give your thanks to our staff and the UHBC team for all of their efforts. This doesn't start to happen without them! Also, nothing but the best to Slo’ Motion BBQ for the fabulous food. And we can't forget the Happy Shotski Combo for another year of providing the soundtrack for the day.

Happy to announce the food truck for tomorrow, Slo’ Motion BBQ!
Unlike many BBQ caterers who use gas or electric smokers, Slo' Motion BBQ smokes all meats using 100% Wisconsin Oak. No shortcuts, no liquid smoke, no artificial flavors. Every brisket gets 12-14 hours in our smokers at 225°F. This traditional smoking method produces the authentic bark and flavor that Wisconsin BBQ is known for.

Today is the big day! So lucky to be a part of Doors Open Milwaukee. We open at 12:30 today and 11:30 tomorrow with a short presentation with details and pictures of the building, neighborhood, and brewery history. Bonus two additional sites on our block! Right next door the Glaus/Klingbeil Building.
Building Description
This building celebrates 150 years in 2026. It is the quintessential corner store with commercial space on the first floor and the owner’s residence upstairs. It was a gathering place for the community first as a dry goods or flour and feed store. Later it became a grocery store serving the community with fresh meats, canned goods and produce. Today it has been repurposed as a photo studio and gallery. It is still a gathering place and for the weekend will features the sculptures of a local artist. Besides the gallery show, the garden will be open, and an exhibit featuring the building’s history will be on display.

Visitor Experience
Throughout the weekend, we’ll be offering short guided tours of the storefront, gallery and garden. The space will feature the current art show of sculptures but guests will also be able to learn about the history of the building with photos and a few artifacts from the building’s past. A pamphlet to take a self guided tour will be available as well.

An additional stop one building south of our neighbor is Maria’s Café. Building Description
Step inside Maria’s Café at Arts @ Large, a welcoming community gathering space where food, art, and creativity come together. Located within Arts @ Large’s vibrant Walker’s Point campus, the café offers visitors a chance to experience the organization’s mission of connecting people through the arts while enjoying a unique neighborhood destination.

Visitor Experience
Self guided tours will be available of the ground floor.
Featured photos: The beautiful fish piece in the Café was done by former Arts At Large Artist in Residence, Catalina Bayona. Catalina is a Colombian artist based in the United States
Local artist Leeann Wootan created the 3 piece mosaic tile art. Leann has served on the faculty and board for the Chicago Mosaic School, and is a current member of the Society of American Mosaic Artists.
