Mad Planet Best Dance Club in the city! Where the hip come to sip. Mad Planet has been a staple of the Milwaukee nightlife scene since it was established in 1990.
(1274)

It has a unique energy that seems inexhaustible, carrying the club from dance party to live music venue and back again. This fun ostentatious club presents a retro dance party every Friday night spinning the funky sounds of the 80's and 90's. During the week, live music reigns supreme. Mad Planet has been host to many big-ticket national acts, including Arcade Fire, the Black Lips and Lucero, as well as providing a stage for some of the best hometown acts Milwaukee has to offer. Milwaukee’s only alt-rock dance club, Mad Planet has been voted favorite dance club by the Shepherd Express for ten years running, and was named Best Dance Club by OnMilwaukee.com in 2009 and 2010. In addition to its dance floor and stage, Mad Planet boasts a lounge feel with intimate seating arrangements and a year-round, covered beer garden that can be enjoyed by smokers and nonsmokers alike.
