Thank you to everyone who came out to honor May and Amy. ❤️

It was truly beautiful to see the pool community come together to support their family and friends and celebrate the lives they touched.

It was a day we know May and Amy would have been proud of—and we can only imagine they were right there with us in spirit, singing karaoke alongside everyone. 🎤❤️

A very special thank you to Dave Dahle for bringing everyone together and making this day possible. It was a beautiful celebration of two very special people who will never be forgotten.

the name means something. 🎱
back in the day, the original romines called 27th and wisconsin home. not on the street level though. it sat up on the second floor, above the noise, above the crowd. the owner looked around and knew exactly what to call it. highpockets.
the name fit like it was always meant to be there.
in 1991, they brought romines south to life on 27th and college. a new location, same soul. a few years later, the original north location closed its doors for good. but the name? the tables? the legacy? none of that went anywhere.
decades later we're still here. still highpockets. still the place milwaukee comes to shoot pool, grab a cold one, and feel at home.
