The sun is about to set on the summer of 2026 and we have to get mushy for a minute.
First, a big huge thank you to all of you who came out to see us this summer. We love our summer families who are only in town for a week each year but make sure to stop by once or twice each time. We love watching your kids grow up. We love hearing the updates. We love being a part of your vacation memories.
Next, big hugs and bigger thanks to our year round regulars. You are the folks who pay our electric bills all year round. Even more than that, you are the ones who watch OUR kids grow up, who know what’s going on in our lives, who cheer us up when we are having a bad day and laugh with us about the restaurant gossip. You are there through it all and you make all of this worthwhile. Thank you for putting up with the long waits and occasional short tempers over the last few weeks. We are looking forward to spending some quality time with you as things calm down!
We also need to thank all the vendors, delivery folks, repair guys and a million more people who do their jobs every day so that we can do ours.
But most all on this lovely Labor Day, we want to thank our hardworking staff. (And the less hardworking ones too 👀) This restaurant takes a whole bunch of people to keep it going. Every server, bartender, busser, barback, food runner, host, bouncer, cook, prep cook, dishwasher and manager is a vital link in the chain that keeps this machine moving. They have all worked long hours in sometimes brutal conditions to make this thing work and we are so proud of the work they do and so very grateful for every one of them.
Thank you all for an amazing season!
