Last night really was special. It honestly felt like the old days. I’m so grateful for how many people came out, but it was definitely bittersweet. Toward the end of my shift, when most everyone had left, it finally hit me.
I cleaned my bar mats, dried them, and went to set them back on the bar… then stopped. Wait, I don’t need to put these out anymore. Then I caught myself putting clean glasses back into the cooler… wait, those don’t need to be chilled anymore either.
Even after I got home, it kept happening. I realized I forgot to leave the sink dripping and almost got in the truck to drive back, until it hit me that I won’t be using those sinks anymore. That's when it all really sank in.
I'm going to miss this place so much.
But truly thank you to everyone who came out last night! I felt so much love from everyone. It was a really good feeling. Love you all!!!

This one is really hard to write.
After almost 13 years here, nearly 9 of those behind the bar, I'm still trying to wrap my head around the fact that this is it. This place hasn't just been my job. It's been my version of "weekend plans" for as long as I can remember. It's my social life. It's where I met and connected with so many of you over the years.
I honestly don’t even know who I am on weekends without it. I’ve spent so many years working every Thurs, Friday and Saturday that it feels strange to imagine them not being spent behind the bar, a routine I've actually really grown to love!
To my regulars, my bar family, and everyone who ever pulled up a barstool and grabbed a drink from me thank you!! Thank you for the support over the years, for showing up, for all the great memories, the friendships I've gained, for your patience on the busy nights, and for making this place feel like home. I will miss this place and all of you more than I can put into words, for real! I know I'll stay in touch with many of you but to all the others, hopefully we run into eachother again sometime down the road!
I’ll always be grateful for the good times we all shared and for everyone who's been a part of this chapter along the way.
One last night. One last round.

After 30 years, Pats Pizza / Allie Oops is closing its doors, and we’d love nothing more than to spend these last nights with all of you who made this place what it is.
