Hello all, we're back at it again today. We didn't think we would but the Ghost of Hellas Kitchen will be open from 10:30AM to 4PM today. We will be closed tomorrow, and make further announcements on next week.

The Stavlas family is sad to announce that after 25 years of serving the Central Anne Arundel County community, Hellas Restaurant and Lounge will be closing down. Our property has sold and we will be closing our doors for business on the end of the day Sunday September 3rd. This was a very sad and difficult decision to make that involved several complex factors, including the state of the economy, labor markets, supply chain disruptions, the overall health of the business, family health issues and other personal factors.
We appreciate all the love and support that our community has given us over the years, it has been our pleasure to serve our guests and help celebrate milestone events in their lives. We are sad and empathize with the community for the loss that our closure creates. We will cherish the wonderful memories that we were able to create with our staff and guests over the past two and a half decades. We truly have the best customers a restaurant can ask for and have built marvelous relationships with so many wonderful people. Our daily interactions with you all will be greatly missed.

We would like to thank the staff that has become part of our extended family over the years, there have been hundreds of amazing people whom we have worked with over the years that have become irreplaceable threads in the tapestry of our lives. We truly have been blessed over the years and our lives have been greatly enriched by working together. We hope everyone that can will come visit, and celebrate with us at least one last time before we close.

To our community outreach partners, we thank you for working with us over the years to uplift the lives of those in our community. There are numerous organizations and individuals we have partnered with who work tirelessly to help improve the lives of others. Whether it be grass roots efforts to provide nutritious food in underserved areas, or raising funds for locals school, we thank you. It has been a privilege to be involved with so many caring and selfless people, your kindness has helped us keep faith in humanity over the years.

Thank you to everyone that is coming out to say their final goodbyes over the next month. We wish happiness and prosperity to all those who have impacted us so profoundly. While the sadness of not being able to serve our community will surely linger, the joys and happiness of our ties together with bring smiles to our faces for years to come. We love you and thank you for your support.
