Nice to meet you, where you been? We could show you incredible things... namely some twisting, turning, and shocking cases, as told to you by an actual profiler and homicide investigator— who just so happens to be a devoted Swifite.

If you’re the type of person who knows that nothing good starts in a getaway car, and you’ve got a list of names in red, underlined, this is your true crime era. We are calling all armchair detectives, masterminds, and mad women to join us for a night that trades friendship bracelets and forensic files.

We know you remember the details all too well, so you’ll get new angles and new analysis on some infamous cases, and learn all about some you’ve probably never heard of. Whether you’re intrigued by a nightmare dressed like a daydream, or you’re just planning to draw the cat eye sharp enough to kill, this event is tailored for you.

What to expect:

● Deep dives into cold cases that will have you asking, “Who’s afraid of little old me?”
● Trivia that tests if you can spot the illicit affairs and the lies.
● Themed drinks that will help you tolerate the ch*****ne problems of the killers and con men.

It starts on Tuesday with Succulent Pumpkins, Wednesday brings a black cat & pumpkin Bingo as a warm-up for the big Halloween Bingo on the 28th, and the weekend starts with the 4th Annual Dog Costume and Parade followed by the Monster Smash Pickleball Tournament.

The week will wrap up with a Night of True Crime with Sarah Cailean- Bad Blood 🩸 True Crime Tales in the key of Swift on Sunday evening.

We love bringing local food trucks to our community, and you’ll still see some of your favorites parked out back during special events and select nights. As the weather cools and outdoor crowds settle down, we’ll be serving up more from our own full menu—so there’s always something delicious to enjoy.
As a small business, we’re working hard to keep prices as steady as possible as higher costs are hitting all of us. Focusing on our own menu this fall and winter helps us do just that.

Utah has quickly become a hotspot for data center development due to its vast fiber infrastructure and available cheap land and fuel. As new proposals are cropping up, where can citizens get more information, understand the impacts and learn how they can engage in taking meaningful action!

Two important pieces of legislation passed in Utah this year with almost no public attention that you should understand. Utah is being used as a testing ground for a wave of these bills throughout the country to make it harder to sue corporations.
H.B. 591 eliminated common-law civil claims for public and private nuisance. That means if a company hurts you (say, a data center uses up all the water, heats up the neighborhood by 10 degrees, or is so noisy you can’t sleep), you wouldn’t be able to sue it.
H.B. 222 limits civil and criminal liability for harms resulting from climate change and greenhouse-gas emissions.

Understand how these bills can strip our rights to clear the way for data centers. Learn about the impact to our water, electricity, and air quality.

Luis Miranda- Luis joined the Sierra Club in 2021 and previously served as a Director for United Way of Salt Lake City building equitable engagement infrastructures. Luis grew up in Guatemala and is a first generation college graduate from London School of Economics and the University of Notre Dame

Nate Blouin represents Utah’s 13th District in the Utah State Senate. Nate is a SLCC and University of Utah graduate with a Masters from Brown University. Nate is a passionate leader who has worked to bring renewable solutions to bring down the cost of energy for Utah families.
