Grape Expectations Wine Club was originally formed by two gas station guys who unexpectedly developed an appreciation of wine. Drinking wines haphazardly in the back room of the garage peeked the interest of others around. Soon enough friends were bringing their thoughtfully picked bottles to the garage and initiating impromtu wine tastings! Eventually, for safety's sake, we took the "Club" out of
the garage and to more suitable locations. People would host tastings at their homes. Some members would search out "wine-friendly" restaurants to host a tasting. The natural pairing of fine wine with great cuisine blossomed. Soon, the search for superb cuisine was almost as strong as for ethereal wines. Although originally formed as local club, the use of social media has allowed us go global. The Grape Expectations Wine Club page was created to be a sounding board for fans of the good life! Feel free to post pictures, opinions, and recommendations for any of your more celestial wine and dining experiences.
