Few buildings in Milford tell the story of America’s Gilded Age, conservation movement, and cultural future quite like Forest Hall. Originally built for the Pinchot family and associated with renowned architects Richard Morris Hunt and Grosvenor Atterbury, the building played an important role in America’s early conservation movement as a gathering place for Yale’s School of Forestry.

Today, Forest Hall continues its tradition of bringing people together. From 2020–2025, the space hosted exhibitions by , , , .caruso , and other celebrated artists, while also welcoming Holiday Market, Gatsby Gala New Year’s celebrations, weddings, lectures, and countless community gatherings. Also housing boutique shopping such as and more.

As we look to the future, Forest Hall is planning for its next Phase, as Milford Hospitality Group is working to modernize this classic building with an elevator, air conditioning and even a catering kitchen. However, we are committed in making sure it remains a place where history, art, culture, and community meet. Through new exhibitions, educational programming, special events, and creative partnerships, we are committed to preserving its legacy while creating new experiences for generations to come.

The Milford Music Fest is just 3 weeks away! From June 19 to 22, 2026, in downtown Milford, bringing a weekend filled with live music, local food, and family-friendly activities. The festival opens with a performance by at , celebrating the music of Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers, followed by additional performances on Catharine Street featuring acts such as , M80, and DJ Gina. Alongside the music, attendees can enjoy a classic car show, face painting, family activities, and local vendors at The Village Market, creating a lively weekend atmosphere designed for all ages. it’s a full day of fun, live music and great food at the Catherine Street block party sponsored by Turano insurance, HNB bank, Econo-pak, and Black Bear Film Festival..
