It is beginning to look a lot like Christmas around Midland! We need your help with a fun community project! Our Holiday Decoration Give Away 2023!

We know that you will run across some Holiday Decoration items that you may not need and want to gift to someone else and not sure how to do that.

We are hosting a holiday decoration and gift giveaway in Midland on Saturday, December 9, 2023 from 1- 4 PM and are collecting items between now and Friday, December 8, 2023. Holiday Decoration Give Away 2023 will take place in front of the The Plaid Giraffe at 160 Ashman Circle, Midland, MI 48640.

Drop off at the Plaid Giraffe between now and then... Hours: Monday to Thursday 10 AM to 5:30 PM, Friday till 3 PM and 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM on Saturdays.

We will accept lightly used holiday decorations… home decorations and even gifts that you were given that could be re-gifted it to someone.

Please share this posting with your friends and on your page and drop off donations any time during open hours. We will store items and they will be given away on Saturday, December 9, 2023 from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM.

P.S. We are also looking for some volunteers to help with setup, working the event and cleanup. Looking for two hour shifts from 10 AM to 5:00 PM. We will have holiday music, a firepit to stay warm and hot chocolate for volunteers.

Holiday Decoration and Gift Collection 2023 at the The Plaid Giraffe Tuesday - Tuesday, January 2rd to 7th, 2023 at 160 Ashman Cir, Midland, MI 48640.

It is that time of year again… We are collecting donations of holiday and home decor items to distribute on Sunday, December 5 to anyone in Midland who would appreciate them. Everything will be free… You can drop things off at the Plaid Giraffe or next-door at the newly opened Enjoy Bakery anytime they are open. Up until Saturday, December 4. Please share this event with as many people as you can.

Coleman Road will be on the Midland Stage from 3 - 5 PM…Mio Bischoff on the small stage from 5 - 6 PM and the Brenda Loomis Band on the big stage from 6 - 8 PM!

Sushi Remix, Bad Wolf BBQ, Whole Enchilda, Zachzilla’s and Sunsational Smoothies and Kona Ice…and two bounce houses from High Country Jumpers!

Looking for something fun to do tomorrow (Sat Aug 14th) afternoon and evening?

Join us at 1583 Washington Street in Midland for the Midland Food Truck Festival from 3 - 8 PM!

We will have ten or so local food trucks like Wonder Burger, YaEatYet, Olvera's BBQ, Sawadee and more! Dessert items...a bounce house from High Country Jumpers for the kids and LIVE MUSIC from 3:00 - 8:00 PM.

Band Schedule:

3 - 5 PM: Claim Jumpers
5 - 6 PM: Mio Bischoff
6 - 8 PM: ? And The Mysterians (Remember the song 96 Tears?)

Please share this post with your friends...bring a chair for the music (we put out 100 adirondak chairs first come first serve) and we have table seating for 100 people.

We are open today from 3-8 PM for our first Midland Food Truck Festival of the year at 1583 Washington Street.

The Relik’s are playing country music from 3-5 PM…Mio Bischoff is on from 5-6 PM and Coleman Road from 6-8 PM.

Come out and grab a bite to eat from some of our favorite food trucks… Sawadee, YaEatYet and a great taco truck out of Flint as well as Dominoes is here… And well as Lasko’s will be open for takeout from 3 to 8 PM cash only!

Hello Circle Wine Garden Friends!

I wanted to give you an update on the Circle Wine Garden 2021. At this moment we are not planning on hosting the Circle Wine Garden due to a number of factors. Primarily, due to it being an alcohol based event...we do not have a non-profit partner for us to host the event. There are many many expenses and necessary guidelines that must be followed and we don't feel there would be enough attendees this year due to Covid and vaccination levels for it to be viable. We are hopeful for 2022.

In the meantime...we will be hosting the Midland Food Truck Festival once a month June - September (without alcohol). Details follow and we hope you will support this sister event.

Midland Food Truck Festival 2021

We are a go for the Midland Food Truck Festival for June, July, August and September 2021 here in Midland!

Looking for both food trucks/trailers and possible booths as well as artisan and craft vendors and other community vendors to participate in our once a month event this summer.

The Midland Food Truck Festival will be held the second Saturdays of June, July, August and September 2021 from 3:00 - 8:00 PM in Midland, MI. We will have non-stop live music each month from 3 to 8 PM. Either country or rock ‘n’ roll and acoustic guitar in between on the big Midland stage!

Last Pop Up Midland Food Truck Festival of the year is TODAY from 3:00 to 7:00 PM at the corner of E Patrick and Washington Street at the Midland Towne Center.

Our favorite food trucks are serving hot yummy vittles for you to enjoy.

Come grab takeout and support the event and the trucks! Please remind your friends and please share this post!

We do have a warm fire to warm yourself as you wait for your freshly prepared goodies.
