Friendships like this are one of my favorite parts of this industry. This weekend I headed to Lubbock to help one of my best gals, Preslea , with one of her biggest events of the year. A few weeks ago she called and said, “Can I borrow you on this date?” and my answer was simple: Say less. 💕

In an industry where we’re all busy building businesses, planning events, and chasing big dreams, it’s special to have people in your corner that you genuinely want to show up for. No questions asked.

Pres, I am so proud of everything you’ve built and so grateful to call you a friend. Thank you for trusting me to be a small part of such an important day. Watching you shine never gets old, darlin’.

About a year and half ago Kelsi Caldwell and I were neighbors! I actually worked with a good friend of mine, Cesar Aguiniga to produce this logo after I came up with the name. Matt Marcure and I were so sad when she and her husband moved away to be closer to their family! Now, this is coming back full circle and it’s all God’s timing! My goal was always to be able to put as many Photo Booth set ups with our trailers as possible. And now that dream is coming true! Thank you friend, for letting me take this off your hands 🙌🏽

After much prayer and consideration, we’ve decided to sell the business.

As many of you know, I’m a full-time wife and mom, and with our family growing and life getting busier, I want to be fully present for this season. Come August, my plate will be even fuller, and I feel called to spend more of my time focusing on my family.

This business has been such a blessing, and I am incredibly grateful for every customer, event, friendship, and memory made along the way. Thank you for supporting this dream and being part of the journey. ✨

The good news is that the name, brand, and this page will remain the same! 🎉

I’m excited to share that the business is being transferred to a dear friend— the very person who encouraged and helped me get started from the beginning. I couldn’t imagine handing it over to anyone else, and I know she will continue serving you all so well.

Today marks 5 years of sobriety from drugs and alcohol. I know I still have so much more to learn and I’m honestly just so thankful for another day because had I not got sober, I probably wouldn’t have even had these last 5 years.

I don’t think the judgement will ever fade when someone learns that I’m a sober bar owner. My peace on that is this..

📣Sobriety didn’t mean I had to give up on my dreams, by the grace of God, it gave me the clarity and strength to chase them.

📣📣Alcohol was never the problem… my relationship with it was.

📣📣📣Addiction is a mental health disease.

I’ll forever be envious of the cool kids that can have a couple drinks without destroying their lives. Ya’ll are proof that addiction doesn’t start with the substance, it comes from within. Just because I’m sober doesn’t mean I’m healed. And it certainly doesn’t mean I think I’m better than the next addict. We’re never healed. To me, I’m still the weakest one in the room, no thanks to my addiction.

I have the absolute honor of knowing several incredible women who have also overcome their struggles with addiction and gone on to become highly successful. These women operate in full sobriety, and if you’re one of them, I want to thank you for inspiring me and so many others.

For my business and this industry, I believe in being people driven and not product driven. I put in the work and got a second chance at life. I like to keep it authentic around here and hopefully inspire others to do the same. Healing is a journey, not a destination.

This year we sponsored hole 9 at Golf & Gowns by Blueprint for Kindness benefitting Fix West Texas and First Tee. We created hole 9.5 to receive donations for Fix West Texas and we were able to raise $120! We matched that at $250! Thank you all who helped us raise the money and supported this beautiful event!
