White Dog Distilling has been a part of the downtown Middletown business community since we opened in November of 2018. In that time, we have survived a pandemic, and a year and a half of Central Avenue being closed. We made it through Covid with no problem because we were able to make hand sanitizer, but the street closure was not as kind. People stopped coming downtown because of the mess and never came back. Our business has been steadily declining to the point that Debbie and I have had to make the painful decision to officially close the White Dog Distilling Company. We cannot continue to throw money at something that continues to decline, especially entering the summer months which are traditionally slow for us. So, our last day of business will be June14, 2026. Hopefully this will give those of you that would like to visit one last time a chance to do so. We will be having a farewell bash on June 12th in conjunction with the pride celebration. We will have live music featuring Randy and the Haskell’s starting at 7:00pm. Debbie and I have thoroughly enjoyed our time as part of downtown and we thank all of you for your patronage over the last seven and a half years. Just because we are closing here in Middletown doesn’t mean we are not going to carry on with the White Dog Distilling Company. We have talked about taking it on the road, preferably to a warmer climate. Hope to see you all in the next two weeks and thank you for letting us serve you!
