Recap & Standings – A Battle Royale for the ages
As we rolled into the venue, you could feel the tension thick as swamp mud. This was no ordinary tourney; the air was crackling with energy, and every “thud” of the bag hittin’ the boards sounded like thunder on a summer night. This was set to be a battle folks would talk about for ages—one of those legendary showdowns where only the best survive. So here’s how it all went down…
1st – Robert Sperry
The stars lined up just right for ol’ Robert. He fought off fierce competition like a hog in a mud pit and came out squeaky clean on top. Trust me, keep readin’ and you’ll see what I mean. This man brought the heat!
2nd – Paul Vandendam
Paul was hotter than a skillet on a campfire! Every round, he was tossin’ flames, makin’ shots so tough they’d make your Granny blush. Ain’t nobody who could match his heat. Keep shootin’, Paul!
3rd – Rob Ayres
Rob’s a gentleman through and through, but don’t let that fool ya. This man tosses bags like he’s paintin’ a masterpiece! Some of his shots had folks scratchin’ their heads, wonderin’ how he even pulled it off. He may be polite, but he ain’t here to lose.
4th – Jocelyn Poudrette
Jocelyn came in like a storm, makin’ every throw count. Steady and sharp, she was like a calm river—lookin’ peaceful, but deep enough to drag ya under if you weren’t payin’ attention.
5th – Brian Seibel
Brian’s got that focus sharper than a gator’s teeth. Every shot was precise, and he made some moves that kept folks wide-eyed and whisperin’ all night.
5th – Steve James
Steve’s the guy who sneaks up on ya. He played it cool but wasn’t afraid to pull out the big shots when it mattered. A true dark horse, y’all!
7th – Darin Hlavinka
Darin came to play, and play he did! He was throwin’ bags like a seasoned pro, lettin’ nothin’ get in his way. Ain’t a bad place to finish for a man who took on some mighty stiff competition.
7th – Mike Dilse
Mike held his own like a true warrior, gettin’ down and dirty with every toss. His shots were strong, like a bull in a rodeo, and you could tell he came to win.
9th – Scott Byrnes
Scott’s a solid player through and through. He may not have grabbed the top spot, but he didn’t go down without showin’ everyone why he’s a threat.
9th – Bruce Christensen
Bruce had everyone keepin’ an eye on him; he’s a crafty player who’s got a trick or two up his sleeve, and he used ‘em when it counted.
9th – Kevin Ehret
Kevin’s game was as reliable as a good ol’ pickup truck. Always there, always strong. He’s got the talent to climb even higher, no doubt about it!
9th – Dave Simpson
Dave brought his A-game and showed he’s a force to be reckoned with. It was a joy watchin’ him throw, and he earned that spot for sure.
13th – Allan Thorne
Allan’s one to watch. He’s got that fire in his belly, and every throw felt like he was just gettin’ warmed up.
13th – Rick Carson
Rick’s got the spirit and the skill to go far. He battled hard, takin’ home a respectable finish. Good goin’, Rick!
13th – Larry Pickering
Larry was cool as a cucumber out there. Every shot was solid, and he’s got the talent to make it big in the next one.
13th – L.T. Vankleef
L.T. was out there makin’ moves, and don’t be surprised if he’s up in the top spots next time. He played with heart, and folks sure noticed.
That’s a wrap on one heck of a tournament! Each and every one of y’all gave it all you had, makin’ this a showdown we’ll be talkin’ about for years to come.
