A special thank you to Billy Johnson, a proud Marine Corps veteran, for stepping up during the Middlefield Old Home Day Parade.
When the strong wind broke the flagpole holding our American flag, Billy didn't hesitate. He proudly held the flag high for the remainder of the parade, ensuring it remained above all of the military branch flags displayed on our veterans float, just as it should be.
His dedication, respect for our nation, and commitment to honoring our veterans did not go unnoticed. Thank you, Billy, for helping make our tribute to all who have served such a meaningful success—even through the rain and wind.
