A graduate of the Lynn University Hotel Management program in Boca Raton, Fl. I have held various managerial positions in food and beverage in both hotels and restaurants front and back of the house. Working late nights in Hospitality for some time, I started to feel the infamous "burn out" syndrome. Sitting down one day, analyzing my life's path, living in Sunny South Florida and having grown up
in the Caribbean I realized that the sea was subliminally calling me. Soon after attaining my captains license my PADI Divemaster Certification and a lot of hard work, I got a job on a mega yacht. Travelling the world while working, fishing, diving etc. and fulfilling my passion. My days off in Italy, the South of France, Croatia etc.. would be spent at small vineyards, wine tastings and wine tours. Suddenly I began to realize that even though having worked with wine before, a new spark for wine had arisen in me. Since, I have read tons about wine and food pairings, taken various courses, my Court of Master Sommeliers Certificate, and now on to the WSET courses and Italian Wine Specialist Course. I feel wine knowlege is a constant journey! Cantinetta Vintners was started because of my passion for wines, travel, cooking, and discovering new ways to pair wine and food. I feel wine has a story behind it mainly passed from generation to generation. The terroir, the vintners, the good vintages and the bad ones, the generations, the labor, the love... Cantinetta Vintners is a 100% snob-free zone! With my down-to-earth style of teaching and explaining wine, I am now offering:
-in-home wine tastings
-personal wine shopper
-corporate events
-restaurant wine list design and planning
-restaurant staff training
