Want to see something really awesome!? As one of the largest karaoke hosting facilities in the NW, we beta test upcoming Karafun versions for them. This release with Battle Mode is now available to the public! Sign up just like normal, most of the songs are available, and the best part is you sing into your own phone as the microphone!

The system measures your pitch accuracy in real time and puts your score on the scoreboard! So much fun! Try it with us every Wednesday and Thursday at 9pm.

With no one to fill our chef’s shoes, our mascot has taken over as the new head chef. We’re still looking for a chef’s coat that will contain all of the fur. Does anyone know where we can find pans with two handles? He’s having a hard time cooking with regular pans, something about having no thumbs?

(In case you forgot, it’s April Fools Day. Be on the lookout for strange and unusual things that just don’t track. Our Chef Miller will continue making the whole menu from scratch. But perhaps stop by and say hi to Jake anyway.)

There is a LOT of music going on here this weekend, and not just with us! Starting with this Friday, we’re hosting live band karaoke with Boise Rockeoke for Brandon’s birthday, starting 7pm. This show is free and open to all ages and guests!

At 10:30pm we’ll switch over to our evening show with DJs from A1 Entertainment. This group will be
charging their own tickets at the door.

Most importantly, Friday is also Jake’s birthday! Our resident Golden Retriever mascot. He says please bring him treatos and toys.

On Saturday, check out Reiner Gruebel and the GreenFlash Band, a popular regional group building their presence here in the Treasure Valley. This is a free show as well, starting 6:30pm.

At 10pm, we’ll switch over to our resident DJ/band group Rumbaton, featuring salsa/latin/Columbian inspired music all night. This group is here EVERY Saturday night and charges their own tickets of $15 at the door.

We’ll wrap it up Sunday with Saul Solis and Too Shabby Band hosting our regular 7pm music open mic.

As always, hear it here on one of the best sound and lighting arrays statewide. We are a full service restaurant, and our menu is always available all night along with 200+ beers, wines, and spirits!

Before we post our exciting events for this week, I wanted to just take a moment to reflect on the last 5 years. When this space became a restaurant, we built the entire space ourselves, down to every wall and screw, painted the walls, and set the fixtures. We’ve only been open about 3 years, but it took a long time getting everything else set in place, the dozens of permits and inspections, vendors, employees, and construction. In the last 5 years we worked 100 hours a week, every week, and took exactly one day off. And in that time we watched as the business grew, the amazing groups that have come and gone, the regulars that became friends, and the friends that met here that eventually became family. We took thousands of photos, and put them into an album of 560 photos, the food crafted, the drinks we made, the events we hosted, and even the people who got married here. I’ve dropped the ball on posting them, so keep an eye out here in the coming weeks as I get caught up on everything!
