Now pouring from the cool, northern fringes of Burgundy: Simonnet-Febvre Irancy 2018.

Irancy is one of the ultimate "if you know, you know" AOCs in the Yonne region. While it’s mostly Pinot Noir, this bottle holds a secret weapon: 5% César, an ancient, hyper-local grape variety brought to the region by Roman legionnaires. That tiny splash gives this Pinot an extra kick of dark berry spice, color, and structure.

The ripe 2018 vintage means you get all that crunchy red currant, dark cherry, and forest-floor minerality, but with a super juicy, plush body that drinks like absolute silk right now.

Obscure Roman history, serious northern Burgundy terroir, zero stuffiness. Come grab a glass tonight. 🍷

If you know the Alexander Valley, you know the legendary Diamond Dust site—it used to be a core driver behind Simi’s iconic Reserve Cabs back in the ‘80s and ‘90s. W**emaker Nick Goldschmidt is giving this historic terroir the spotlight it deserves, and we’re putting it straight into your glass.

Expect big black plum, dark cocoa, and sage with laser-focused acidity and fine-grained tannins that make it punch way above its weight class.
