In a darkened bedroom, lit only by the amber glow from an old floor model radio, two young brothers aged 6 and 12 lay in their beds, listening to the country music broadcasts from the Grand Ol’ Opry, and practiced their harmonies. Two years later, the youngest one was playing the definitive 8-year-old’s version of “Desolation Row” on his ukulele. He soon abandoned that instrument to teach himself the flute, violin and guitar.
Within ten years, and barely out of high school, Garnet Rogers was on the road as a full-time working musician with his older brother Stan. Together they formed what has come to be accepted as one of the most influential acts in North American folk music.
Since then, Garnet Rogers has established himself as ‘One of the major talents of our time”. Hailed by the Boston Globe as a “charismatic performer and singer”, Garnet is a man with a powerful physical presence – close to six and a half feet tall – with a voice to match. With his “smooth, dark baritone” (Washington Post) his incredible range, and thoughtful, dramatic phrasing, Garnet is widely considered by fans and critics alike to be one of the finest singers anywhere. His music, like the man himself, is literate, passionate, highly sensitive, and deeply purposeful. Cinematic in detail, his songs “give expression to the unspoken vocabulary of the heart” (Kitchener Waterloo Record).
An optimist at heart, Garnet sings extraordinary songs about people who are not obvious heroes and of the small victories of the everyday. As memorable as his songs, his over-the-top humour and lightning-quick wit moves his audience from tears to laughter and back again.

There are songwriters who chronicle life, and then there's David Wilcox --- an artist who metabolizes it. He has long been a quiet force in American folk music, a musician's musician, a writer's writer and a seeker whose gift lies in the personal feel universal.
The music he's creating now comes from a place that can't be faked. In recent years, Wilcox's life has been shaped by his wife's Parkinson's diagnosis -- a shift that reordered his priorities and redefined his sense of time, love and presence. But rather than retreat, he leaned in. " Times get tough, and music gets good" he says and means it. His songs don't dramatize....they don't resolve neatly....they sit in the complexity of living.....open eyed, unafraid, quietly brave.

Tim Grimm is a bit of a Renaissance man in the performing arts world, forging a rich and varied career that blends his love of songwriting, travel, and acting in theatre, film and television. For most of his 25-year career as a storytelling balladeer in the tradition of John Prine, Woody Guthrie, and Bob Dylan, Tim has written primarily about community, family, and social issues - often framed by his strong sense of place, and his love of the rolling hills, woods, and rural folk with whom he grew up in rural Indiana. His songs are filled with colorful characters and landscapes, written and sung with vivid warmth and intimacy.
Tim’s newest album, BONES OF TREES, was the #1 most-played album on International Folk Radio for the year 2025, and his protest ballad BROKEN TRUTH struck a deep chord with audiences, becoming the #1 most-played song on Folk Radio for both 2024 and 2025. BONES OF TREES finds Tim surrounded by a robust musical community, with harmony vocals on seven songs and rich, varied instrumentation provided by a variety of noted musicians from America and the UK, where Tim frequently travels. Tim's good friend, the noted guitarist Sergio Webb, has become a musical and touring partner in the last few years and accompanies him on every track. The album art for BONES OF TREES was created by Tim's partner, visual artist Alissa Branch.

Katie Dahl is a clear-eyed and tough-minded songwriter & playwright known for her smart songs, wry wit, and wise spirit. A small-town celebrity on the Wisconsin peninsula where her family has lived for 175 years, Katie is also an internationally touring, radio-charting artist who “delivers razor-sharp lyrics with a hearty, soulful voice” (American Songwriter). In live shows that are both courageously honest and devilishly funny, Katie dives deep into questions of land and love, family and body image, grief and joy. “In unsettled times,” says Peter Mulvey, “Katie Dahl brings us a grounded spirit.”
R. J. Cowdery songs are "beautiful, moving, emotionally engaging songs that feel designed to help pull us through these unsettling times and our own personal troubles. She provides a sweet and friendly voice, like a hand reaching out to us in the darkness." Michael Doherty, Michael Doherty's Music Log
Hope Dunbar is a singer-songwriter known for her blend of Americana and country-folk sounds. Hailing from Utica, Nebraska, she has been a pioneer of what she calls "New American Prairie style," crafting semi-autobiographical songs that transform everyday life into art. Her work has garnered recognition, including being a three-time finalist at the Kerrville New Folk Song Contest.
